I don't think I'm liking Facebook.  I have a couple of questions? When I search for people does it show them I visited their page, like friendster does? And how come people that I know are on Facebook aren't showing up when I search? Do I have to join their network?

[/quote]Nope, no one can see you visited their page. I'm not sure about the second part--they used to have a global search feature but I can't find it anymore. There has to be a way to do it because Jess added me; I'd wait for her all-knowingness self to post.

nobody knows if you've look at their page. i don't know why your people aren't showing up; you should be able to see them in search, just not actually look at their profile until you friend them, unless they're in your network (in which case you can look at their profile even if you aren't friends). i've never had that problem. maybe they have a different name listed than you are searching (i.e. dan/daniel etc.)?

all searches are global now. it just lists the results from your network first.

yeah, you can be friends with people from any network. you can also have more than one network yourself (region network/school network/work network, etc.).
