She's both a Yankees fan AND a Red Sox fan. This is simply impossible.

Beyond that, the only thing I can think of is possible suicide or perhaps a heart attack? I'm leaning toward heart related. She seemed like a badass. Very sad.

Obviously the internal conflict just caused something to explode. Poor woman.

    Whoa. Yeah, that's weird.

The estimated human lethal dose of fluoxetine is 1200 to 2000 milligrams (60 to 100 20-milligram capsules) (Kincaid et al, 1990)
How awful for her family. Hope she found peace.

Some of my clients get very confused taking their medications sometimes. They'll take several times their normal dose without realizing it. I see it a lot in the geriatric age population or those with cognitive impairments, so it's definitely possible, even on prozac. She was probably in a foggy state of mind (for whatever reason) and didn't realize how many she had taken.

    Very sad though.

Yeah but she was 58, not elderly. Unless she had early onset I highly doubt she accidently took 60 pills.

No, she definitely isn't "elderly," but she's also not that far off, either. Delirium at 58 isn't totally unheard of, and it can be caused by underlying mental health or medical issues (which could have also made it possible for her to overdose on a lower dose as well). Overdosing on prozac isn't easy, so if it was truly accidental, some major confusion was probably present.

Yeah you are right. And you would know more about the subject than I. I guess something had to have happened to make the ME think the overdose was accidental.
