Crime Library Uncovers Seedy Internet Trail in Corey and Hannah Cassels' Investigation

WEBSTER, Fla. (Crime Library) — "Well, I'm 18, I have a husband, a two-year-old daughter, and a eight week old son. I love my husband; he's the only man for me, and we are very happy." This is how 18-year-old Hannah Michelle Cassels described herself in her MySpace profile. Unfortunately for Hannah, she and her husband, 23-year-old Corey James Cassels, allegedly took a forbidden path during their journey together through life, and now their happiness has been shattered. Two lives are in ruin, notwithstanding their two children and the possible horrors to which they were subjected along the way.
On March 23, the Tampa FBI with assistance from the Sumter County Sheriff's Department served a search warrant on the Cassels' singlewide mobile home at 4941 SW 125th Road in Webster as part of a child pornography investigation. While authorities have not commented on the probable cause for the warrant, they described what they found when they entered the residence.
According to police reports, the mobile home was filthy and littered with debris. In the kitchen, dirty dishes and half-eaten food cluttered the floors and counters. The overpowering stench of rotten and spoiled meat not only permeated the air, but it also acted like a lure, attracting more flies than a Mississippi cow pie. Intertwined with the mess were multiple pornographic magazines haphazardly strewn about the house.
While the state of the home was shocking in itself, officers on the scene were even more horrified by the condition of the couple's children, ten-month-old Corey Jr. and three-year-old Rachel. According to the report, both children were covered in dirt. As if that was not bad enough, the walls of the infant's nursery, which should have been decorated with racecars and teddy bears, were allegedly plastered with multiple pinup posters of naked women. Investigators also made note of several knives they found throughout the house easily within reach of the children.
"It was a mess," Lt. Bobby Caruthers told the Orlando Sentinel Friday. "The best way to describe it was total filth. What made it worse was two young children were living in the home."
Under the heading "who I'd like to meet," she lists two or three celebrities, including Jenna Jameson, a well-known actress in pornographic films, whom she describes as "one of the sexiest women in the world." Hannah also completed a brief survey in which she mentions possibly going to college. In answer to the question "What do you want to be when you grow up?" her answer was "a CSI (crime scene investigator)." An interesting line of work indeed; perhaps she busied herself taking notes when the FBI raided her home.
In addition to her profile, Hannah also blogged MySpace, and in a September 14, 2006 post, she talks about Melinda and Trenton Duckett.
"I just watched Nancy Grace, and some things are seeming really weird to me about Melinda Duckett A.K.A MEE KEE ONG LEE. The coloring of her hair and the selling of the car seat may have been Melinda's way of mourning. Melinda is a different kind of person than most. No one is to say the feelings she had or what her grasps on things were at anytime before or after Trenton's disappearance..."
She continues, "I got a message from Melinda, asking me if she knew me on the 24th of August. With a pic of her holding an AR-15. The next pic posted on her profile is the nice one that everyone sees now. You know the one with the yellow shirt and blue jean skirt... don't assume what you hear is the truth. Throughout this whole thing I have gone from believing it was Melinda to thinking that there might have been some sort of setup."
Hannah's MySpace friends and family members are in shock over her arrest. I received this message from her brother last night:

"I am in complete shock right now. I don't guess you can't tell based on the MySpace accounts, but Hannah is my younger sister. I live in <redacted> and don't speak that much to my family in Florida. The only time I have talked to Hannah in the past few years (since she got married and moved out of our parents home) has been through MySpace.
"Right now I hear that her children are in Corey's parents home. I think this is horrible and I would like to see what can be done about it..."
The children were put in the custody of the Department of Children and Families, and both parents were arrested and charged with child abuse. The Cassels' computer was also seized during the search.
Calls to the Sumter County Sheriff's Department were deferred to the Tampa FBI yesterday, and calls to that agency were not immediately returned; however, a source close to the investigation said that federal charges are pending.
Hannah's MySpace profile was last logged into on March 20. She lists herself as a proud parent and a stay-at-home mom. In light of her arrest, her self-descriptions are obviously superficial. There are several photos of her family on the profile; however, other parts of it are peppered with photos of Playboy Bunnies and scantly clad women.
Hannah's husband also chose to make his own MySpace profile. In fact, his last login date was on March 19.
There are several photos, including one of Corey standing in front of a racecar, which he describes as a gift from his wife. He neglected to describe himself in the "about me" section of the profile; however, he did fill out the profile headline. It reads, "Cute couple looking for cute bi girl." His occupation is also interesting. According to Corey, he is employed as a correctional officer. On his next resume, he can now list experience on both sides of the bars.
From Corey's MySpace profile, I learned he was building a racecar. Using this information, I managed to connect him to a post on the Citrus Speedway message board. That post is presented here in its original format:

The post is not relevant to this case or for that matter very interesting; however, it did prove to be very helpful to me, as it provided me with Corey's email address, yourboy83@yahoo.com, which led me to a very revealing Yahoo profile, which he last updated on Jan. 24, 2007.
When I first visited the page, the photo Corey chose to greet visitors momentarily took me aback. There he was, sitting on the bed half naked with his hand wrapped around his genitals. His face was expressionless, but I suppose there is not much one could add to a photo of that nature. He even went so far as to identify himself on the profile by giving both his name and location.
"I am married to the best woman in the world," he wrote. "I have two beautiful kids; I love them all to death." For his favorite quote, he wrote, "I know I am hot." Perhaps he is also a fan of Paris Hilton. Regardless, this was just the icing on the cake.
Going on a hunch, I decided to visit Woody Woodring's old stomping grounds at AdultFriendFinder.com. Using the search engine there, I searched for couples in Webster between the ages of 18 and 23, who were looking for a female companion. There were three results, and among them, I found exactly what I was looking for. The middle result gave a brief headline and featured a photo of Corey and Hannah with their arms wrapped around each other. Their last login date was listed as Aug. 8, 2006.
Using the screen name "wewantbigurl," Corey and Hannah described themselves as married swingers, who enjoyed "hangin [sic] out with each other [sic] and other girls." For their ideal match, they were seeking "women or couples (2 women) for group sex (3 or more!)."
"We are looking for a girl who we can be friends with, but will also fulfill every desire each of us have. She has to have a good sence [sic] of humor and wild and outgoing. She's just gotta [sic] be lots of fun."
For the about him section, Corey listed the following information:

Whether they ever met anyone through the adult sex Web site is not known. The testimonial section of their profile is blank, and they did not use the Web site's blogging options.
Corey and Hannah probably posted profiles to other adult Web sites on the Internet; however, I did not have the time or stomach to search all of them. Besides, I think what I have found thus far should provide a clear picture of who they are and what they are about.
As of this writing, both Corey and Hannah are being held at the Sumter County Jail on $5,000 bond each. Anyone with information about this case should call the Tampa FBI at (813) 253-1000.
