Mydeathspace conjures up mixed feelings for me. Inasmuch as it does this-is contentious and provokes debate-I think it's a good thing-anything that makes people think is a good thing. Ethics is never a straightforward matter, and morality is very subjective. Yes you could argue that these pages are a tribute, and it is certainly gauling to hear about all of this tragedy, and it put things in perspective. I do wonder however-is anyone that runs this site related to or a good friend of any of the people on here? It's only from that position that they could possibly judge whether it is right or wrong I think. Ultimately, I suppose the answer lies in what motivated the person to set this site up really, if they are truely honest with themselves. I will be the first to confess that what drew me to the site initially was morbid interest-just the same as many others I suspect-and to me that doesn't feel like a wholly moral motivation.
