i saw this one that was black lines going from one side to the other, like an X. it was even, and the little diamonds that the design made were colored in multi colors. i haven't figured out how to do it, but it looked freakin awesome.  i'll try to look for a pic of it....

lulz. I just got back from getting my nails done. I decided not to do anything too crazy, so I just asked for pink tips. Yeeeeah, I guess they thought I said "find the cheapest looking red color possible, paint my tips with them, and make me look like a middle aged trailer trash lady, who is super stoked for the holidays. They even put silver glitter on them shits. When the in laws leave I'll post a pic, and an after when I'm done repainting them.  :lol:

I don't think either one of mine is waterproof. So I am guessing I should get waterproof. Also I try to not close my eyes for as long as possible right after. I put a couple coats of mascara on.

I love that, very '30s. I noticed in Dita von Teese's coffee table book that she doesn't paint the moons of her nails. I attempted it and it just looks like I missed a spot... on every nail. Boo.  :

speaking of nail art.....i was laughing my ass off at my ex's ex wife.  she went to beauty school and i swear she is still stuck in the 80's....i mean like the bad 80's.  she had like different designs on each nail, different colors, like nothing went together, it all clashed like crazy.  then she had these little fruit looking pieces and they are supposed to go into the acrylic, not on top of it and she was showing me and i was all 'mmmmm, purty'....

I like french manicures.  i get them done in black with silver glittery polish.  i hate glittery polish but when its done with the black in the FM, it looks amazing.  i think we have done all kinds of designs.  she hand paints mine and she's really good.  ill have to start taking pics.

On which one? She doesn't cut them because it's unsanitary. My cuticles always look fine.

Cuticles aside, I love all those designs.  I would never pay 50 bucks for my nails though, my acrylics were 18 bucks, fillings are 12.

mine are about $8. i dont do the acrylics, i just get them shaped and painted.
