Im making this thread as a place for people who are serious about planning and participating in our little philly con to get together and plan....

so far in general consensus we have Philly Fri. August 10- Sun. August 12....or perhaps Fri. August 17-Sun August 19

a visit to the medical oddities museaum and to a historical graveyard during the day...

dinner and night life on Friday and Saturday night.



Tom is doing some research for the nightlife dinner situation. I'll try to find affordable hotel accomodations and see about getting a block of rooms at a discount or something depending on who is going to go.

Anyone who is serious about making the Minicon happen please join the discussion and help us plan!

i hope you guys have a great time! im visiting america in july with any luck but the plans are going slow as hell, but at that time il be in Texas, im more likely to be in Newyork in like September/August? convention number 2?

if you're in NYC that 2nd weekend in August you could pop down to philly. you could take the train and it would be quick like a couple hours. [size=12pt]I mean I don't know if we're all solid on that particular date....that next weekend August 17-19 works for me also. What do other people think about the dates[/size]

The dates depend on everyone else, cause, uh, I am usually in Philly.

we arnt set at all on anything yet, and im fairly easy going, im up for meeting you all! but im only 19 (20 in september) be weird going somewhere and not being "allowed" to drink!

Wha??  No freakin' way!!  Hell's yeah, if I can conger up the money I'm down like James Brown.  I bet if we can get enough people to go, the hotels and museums and stuff will give up group rates!  OMFG, that would be awesome!!
