Matthew Allen Beeler age 21, passed away Wednesday, October 3, 2012. Matthew was born on December 26, 1990 in Gary, IN and graduated from Calumet High School in 2009. He recently graduated from the United States Army basic training and AIT school at Fort Benning, GA. Matthew is survived by his son, Jayden Beeler; daughter, Kylie Beeler; mother, Stacy Beeler; sisters: Lindsey Dyer and Isabella Beeler-Richie; nephews: Brayden and Wyatt Hancock; niece, Alexandria Hancock; grandmothers: Sandy (Steve) Schenz and Elizabeth (Al) Noak; grandfather, Allen (Judy) Beeler; uncles: Michael (Teri) Dyer, Allen (Sonia) Beeler III, Jeffrey (Kimberly) Beeler, and James Gallagher; aunts: Kerry Gallagher, Michele Stroud, and Teresa (Bob) Davenport, and countless cousins and cherished friends. Preceded in death by his father, Matthew Thomas Beeler; and uncle, Michael Beeler. Matthew loved an eclectic mix of music, played loudly, and enjoyed his Starbucks, preferably with friends. He loved campouts, bonfires, and momma's spaghetti. Like his father, he was a frustrated Chicago Bears fan, though his friends helped him through. Matthew loved the way his son's face lit up when he saw him, and thought he had the prettiest little girl in the world. Matthew loved nothing more than rolling around with his dad, acting stupid with his friends, and trips to Cedar Point with his crazy Uncle Mike. Matthew's sense of humor will always define him. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 9, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Calumet Park Funeral Chapel, 7535 Taft Street, Merrillville, IN with the Reverend Mary S. Janda officiating. Internment to follow at Calumet Park Cemetery, Merrillville. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Monday, October 8, 2012 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM and Tuesday morning from 10:00 AM until time of service at the funeral chapel. Matthew Thomas Beeler, age 41, of Hammond, IN passed away Tuesday, December 28, 2010 in Griffith. Born on March 10, 1969 in Gary, IN, he graduated from Merrillville High School in 1987, after which he enlisted in the United States Navy. Matthew was a Union Carpenter for many years, studied at Purdue Calumet, and was most recently employed by Gary Railroad Co. He played lead guitar in the now-defunct band, Tuesday?s Child. Matt was most passionate about family, friends, music, playing guitar, and being of service. He was a loyal, yet often frustrated, Chicago Bears and Cubs fan. He enjoyed fishing and a good cup of coffee. He was preceded in death by his brother, Michael Beeler. Matthew is survived by daughter, Lindsey Dyer of Gary, IN; son, Matthew A.
