Hello again Ande,
I hope you're doing very well and that you had a very good and relaxing weekend. I'm David and I hope you can remember me from some time ago when I sent you an unsolicited message to say HI. I haven't heard back from you and I hope you did indeed receive my previous message ?
I hope I'm not being a pest by messaging you yet again, but I just want to say Hi again and wish you a good day and a very good new week.
I was really hoping to hear from you but I can imagine that you're somewhat skeptical about replying to an unsolicited message from someone from the far side of the world. I however had no other motive for writing to you, other than saying hi and hoping to hear from you too.
Well, I hope you'll have a very good day and a good new week and I'll be looking out to hearing from you whenever you have a moment to write. Take good care.
Sincerely
David
Oh, In case you didn't receive my previous message or maybe forgot what I babbled in there ... I dug up my previous message to you from the depths of my sent box and am pasting it in here for you to read again. If you did receive it though ... then please don't read any further.
Previous message ....
Hello Ande,
How are you ? I hope you're doing very well and that you had a good weekend and a good start to the new week ?
My name is David and I found your profile page on here quite by chance. I hope I'm not being too forward by sending you this unsolicited message but I decided on the spur of the moment to write to you to just say HI and to tell you that I found your profile page from halfway across the world. I hope you won't think that I have any sinister ulterior motive for writing you this message, other than just wanting to say HI.
I probably am not at all the person that you intended should write to you, as I literally live on the far side of the planet from you. :-( I do realize that my page is somewhat bare - not because I have anything to hide, but simply because I haven't taken the time to populate it. So, please allow me to tell you more about me. As you already know, my name is David. I live in South Africa. Yes, halfway around the world from you. I'm however of European descent, so I'm Caucasian. Well, actually, I'm a mutt, as I'm part English, part French and part German. ;) I have a Masters degree in electronic engineering and previously used to be a pilot in the South African Air Force. I flew jet strike fighters and loved every moment of it ... but decided a few years ago to quit the air force in favor of a professional (and hopefully better paying) career in engineering. Flying still remains my passion though ... and I now fly my tiny 2-seater plane as often as I can .. just to keep the worst withdrawal at bay !
OK, what else can I bore you with ? Oh, just for the record .. I'm single ... and I share a house in one of the suburbs of Pretoria with a cat and a German Shepherd dog. I love my job ... I work for a consulting engineering company that primarily does project management on large R projects. I've been very fortunate in that I've been able to travel quite extensively as part of my job .. and I've been to very many very interesting places all over the world. I've been to the USA on several occasions and enjoy it every time that I get to visit there. You live in an awesome and very diverse country and I've been fortunate to have traveled the USA from east to west and experience a lot of your culture and the diversity of the country. I look forward to every trip to the USA, but I have to be honest though and tell you that I won't easily trade living anywhere else for where I do now ! This is a very beautiful country and also very different from any other African country ... and very different from the perception that many people seem to have.
Hmmm .. some more about me .. I enjoy going to the gym and I also jog just to try and keep fit. I used to be quite a competitive long distance runner, but don't have the time to train properly anymore ... so I've now been relegated to being a social jogger ! I enjoy all the usual things like reading, music, the outdoors etc. I am an avid reader and my favorite way of spending a holiday, is to just be on my own with a good book. I have quite a wide ranging music taste .. ranging from classic thru 60s to modern. I love musical theater and Andrew Lloyd Webber's musicals are my absolute favorite.
Oh, I'm sure I've bored you to sleep by now with my long soliloquy and I apologize for that. I sincerely hope that you'll feel like replying to this email. I'll enjoy hearing from you and getting to know more about you, where you live, and what you do.
Please take care and I really hope you'll decide to write to me too.
I hope you'll have a very good day and a good remainder of the week.
Sincerely,
David

He must've had a tough paper route if he is 41.
I can't even read all of that. Does he really think that his message will work?
 Ande', that guy sounds like the Nigerian prince who keeps asking for money in email. Except he speaks perfect english. You get the best prospects, hun! ![]()
Just because.
Yeah so I'm bored and I read the whole thing. I think it would be about half as long if he didn't repeat everything.

Got this message today from some girl.
I know we haven't met, but I love how your afro looks. I know this is gonna sound odd, but I'd love to grow out my downstairs hair and replicate it. I was wondering if you were single? If so I'd love to meet up with you. I just wanna smell your hair. I wanna touch your hair. I wanna caress your hair. I am a hair freak. It's my fetish. Hopefully you are into it. Hair, hair hair.
