North Richland Hills police say a teenage girl was killed and her mother was seriously injured when their car was was struck by another vehicle Saturday night.

According to investigators, 15-year-old Kendall Clark was a passenger when her mom attempted to make a left turn on Rufe Snow Drive. Their vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a southbound Jeep.

Kendall was pronounced dead at the scene; her mother was last reported in critical condition at an area hospital.

Kendall's death generated an immediate response from classmates on Twitter.

She had to turn left across at least two lanes of traffic. I had an accident doing the same thing way back in '89. That poor family.

I'm not sure the exact relation but this woman has posted alot about it and posted that the mom (Tiffany) has been moved out of ICU. A least a tiny light at the end of the tunnel.
