Could be, depending on where they live. I found family info online, but couldn't Google anything additional on them with just their names.
Not even a mention on the company webpage. They still have him listed as staff. :( So sad. He seemed so proud of his little girl and just seems like an all around nice guy based on his posts.

Yeah. Puzzld has seen it. I don't know what to make of it, but I've seen it. I could accept suicide, given the deafening silence about a cod. If it had been an accident, it would have made the paper. Even a heart attack or something, you'd expect some hint, a memorial to the heart association, or something.
As for the rest of it... well I've heard nothing of the sort. Doesn't mean it's not true, but this is a pretty tight knit place. Hard to hide dark secrets.
Yes he was a very personable man, but one of the nicest guys I ever met was a kid toucher, so I won't say it's not possible, but as I say, I've seen and heard nothing that points that way.
Comments are showing up on his fB now, all sad, shocked and loving. So who knows.
As for being under while he operated on me, no. My surgery was with a different surgeon, I became Dr. Yu's patient when my doctor moved to a practice out west.
He wanted to do another surgery, but I was reluctant, so I guess I'll get that second opinion from whoever replaces him.
