    In Memory of
    Leah Marie Howell
    July 1, 1976 - November 10, 2014
    Obituary

Leah Howell, 38, of Euless, TX passed away at her home on Monday morning, November 10th, 2014.

She was born to Cherry Ann Freudiger and the late James Thomas Johnson on July 1st, 1976, in Honolulu, Hawaii. She was raised with her brother James Conrad Johnson in El Paso, TX, moving to the DFW Metroplex in July of 1982. She graduated from Sam Houston High School in 1994 and attended university at Stephen F. Austin and the University of Texas at Arlington where she met her husband, Ross Howell. Leah and Ross were married on April 4th, 1998, in Fort Worth, TX and lived in and around the D/FW Metroplex for the next sixteen years.

Leah was the devoted mother of Andrew Howell, born in 1998. Ross and Andrew were the center of her life. Leah loved surrounding herself with family and friends, her smile would light up the room, and she touched everyone's heart with joy.

Leah's open heart and gentle, caring personality will be greatly missed. She leaves behind an amazing collection of friends and family who are greatly diminished by her unexpected loss.

Leah is survived by her husband Ross and her son Andrew; her mother Cherry; her brother James; along with many other friends and extended family.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday November 15 at 10:00am in the Moore South Chapel. There will be a time of visitation Friday November 14 , from 6-8pm.http://moore.tributes.com/dignitymem...well-101867124

Wow. Muscle relaxers, allergy meds, pain meds and meds for anxiety.

    Tragic.

Too many downers will depress your nervous system and you stop breathing. I wonder if she was drinking too.

Prescription drugs perceived as safe by society.
Pot. Perceived as evil and still considered criminal in most states and federally.

    Makes sense.

An old friend of mine passed away recently, from taking pain meds and drinking. She stopped breathing in her sleep and never woke up. Olivia submitted an article for her for me. And her last name is the same as this girl's, weird. My friend's name was Cassidi Howell.
