Ryan Champion Murdered Lindsey, Joy, & Emily Champion and Vito Riservato and tried to blame Vito

Maybe I've been reading this message board, and true crime books a bit too much. However, this doesn't sound right.Vito Riservato met the Champion family only days before murdering the father Lindsey, mom Joy, and daughter Emily. Ryan, Emily's brother was only injured. IMO Ryan had something to do with this. It's just not adding up. Here are a few links. What do you guys think?

Ryan Champion, 36, survived the shooting. He and his sister, Emily Champion, were in town Sunday visiting their parents. Emily was spending time with her family before starting a new job in November, Ryan said.

The Champions had just returned from church that morning. Ryan said because of the ongoing investigation, he can only share certain details of what happened inside the house. But according to Ryan, he was the only person who walked out alive after Riservato came to the home.

Riservato briefly met the victims last week, according to Tfc. Jay Thomas, a spokesman for the Kentucky State Police.

"It was a very short relationship, that's all I can say," Ryan said.

The man added he wishes he intervened sooner. He said he believes Riservato spared him because he was not considered a threat.

"I was able to turn the tables on him. He got close enough to me that I could turn the tables, and that was it," Ryan said. "Every minute the entire thing was going on, that's all I was waiting for. I was waiting for an opportunity."

Ryan was released from the hospital Sunday. He was uninjured.

Emily is on the left. She is a vet who was just visiting for a week before she started her new job. The mom is Joy- and she was a 4th grade teacher, and the dad is Lindsey. He was a church elder.

This article won't let me copy/paste, but it's an interview with Vito's roommate. They say Vito knew Ryan (the brother) and that they were friends. The friend also says that somebody offered Vito a lot of money to kill some people. The roommates think Vito was set up.

This was definitely an inside job. How would a random person know Emily and Ryan would be there that day?

If just the parents were killed, Ryan would have to split everything with his sister. Vito didn't kill Ryan because he needed to get paid. Ryan didn't want to leave any witnesses and he didn't want to share anything. Vito had no idea he was going to die that day.

I would like to know more about life insurance policies, Ryan's criminal and financial background and what evidence they have from the scene.

The police are pretty quite now. They says there is still a very active investigation going on.

Vito drove 30 minutes to get to the Champion's town.

Some of the comments say that Ryan was an adopted son (rumor at this point) but I find it strange that somebody would murder the whole family when the sister just happened to be visiting her family.

I've already read about 5 different article where Ryan has gave interviews. His story is already all over the place and it's full of holes. I bet the police are eyeballing him HARD.

IMO- I'm going to keep an eye on this story. I wouldn't be surprised if Ryan is arrested soon.

He sounds like a worthless POS. I think it's especially shitty that he manipulated a mentally handicapped person into doing his dirty work. I wonder if Ryan actually did the killings and just framed Vito. I'm pretty sure the family would be cautious of a stranger, but not their own family member.

I've been following the local Topix on this case.

Before Ryan made his facebook private, there were many people watching his posts. There were a few people he was friends with that was also friends with Vito.
There were a lot of people that screen snipped the post from somebody that said "Glad the bitch is dead" and sent it to the police.
I guess Ryan made quite a few "questionable" posts right after the murder.

His Facebook is completely private now. Odd though his friends amount went up about 100 people. The one thing that bothered me was the post from a girl in hoptown to Ryan stating "I love u Bubba I'm so srry. I love u so much I'm glad that that bitch is dead." The post remained there for about 15 hours and was removed. I have no clue what it meant. The same girl knew both the "suspect shooter" and the son of the victims.
