Las Vegas cops are on the hunt for a hulking Mixed Martial Arts fighter with a violent history who they say put his porn star girlfriend in the hospital in a brutal attack at her Sin City home early Friday.

Starlet Christy Mack was recovering from "severe but nonlife-threating" injuries following the predawn beating at the hands of cage fighter boyfriend Jon Koppenhaver, who brawls under the name War Machine, police said

Las Vegas Police Lt. Ted Glaud told the Las Vegas Review-Journal there was a chance Koppenhaver, 32, was headed to San Diego.

By early Monday, police had not tracked him down.

Koppenhaver, who appeared the reality show "The Ultimate Fighter" in 2007, broke his silence about the alleged attack in a series of anguished tweets Saturday and Sunday.

In the messages, Koppenhaver described a scene in which he came home early to surprise Mack with an engagement ring and couldn't "believe what I found."

"I love you and hope you're okay. I came him (sic) early to surprise you and help you set up for your convention. I can't believe what I found and can't believe what happened. All I wanted was to surprise you and help and do something nice ...now this," Koppenhaver wrote.

"I'm not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life," he wrote.

Later, he added, "The cops will never give me fair play, never believe me. Still deciding what to do but at the end of the day it's all just heart breaking."

"I only wish that man hadn't been there and that Christy & I would be happily engaged.I don't know y I'm so cursed. One day truth will come out," his last tweet said.

An MMA fighter is wanted by Las Vegas police following an alleged domestic dispute.

MMA promotions company Bellator released a statement condemning Koppenhaver and announced it was cutting ties with the troubled welterweight.

"We have a zero tolerance policy here at Bellator when it relates to any form of domestic violence," Bellator President Scott Coker said, according to the Review-Journal.

Koppenhaver has a history of run-ins with the law, including a year-long jail stint for assault stemming from a fight at a San Diego nightclub in 2010.

After someone on Twitter suggested Mack and he were not together, Koppenhaver tweeted the porn star was his 'property and always will be.'

According to FOX Sports and MMA news site WHOATV.com, he and Mack have a stormy past, their troubles often playing out over social media in tweets and Instagram posts referencing fights, breakups and other lurid rifts.

In November, Mack reportedly tweeted that Koppenhaver beat her up and threatened to kill her.

"He full on beat the s- out of me, couldn't show my face in public beating," she wrote, according to FOX Sports.

The tweets were later deleted and Koppenhaver posted afterwards that their back-and-forth had been a joke.

In the hours before the alleged altercation, Koppenhaver tweeted a promotional flyer touting an appearance Mack was scheduled to make at a weekend event in Las Vegas.

Later, he responded to commenter who claimed he and Mack were not together.

Koppenhaver was signed with Bellator MMA. The promotions company announced it was cutting ties in with him.
"F--- u talking about? She's my Property and always will be," he spat.

Koppenhaver's tweets, along with police reports that another person was injured at the scene, sparked rumors on blogs and social media that the fighter had flipped out after catching Mack with another man.

Mack, who remained active on Twitter over the weekend, shot down those reports, telling one person who referenced the cheating rumors, "Actually, that's not a fact."

The alleged incident drew an outpouring of sympathy for Mack on social media. Porn star Jenna Jameson wrote that Mack suffered 'massive injuries inflicted by her ex.'
