Wait... Ron's Black?
This is how I pictured Ron (from Queens!) for months after I joined.
I probably wouldn't have joined the forum if Ron wasn't here. I get so tired of being the only Black person. I was one of the only few Black people in The Sims Online (don't judge me!), City of Hereos, Everquest 2, Runescape, and WoW...and on all of the message boards I belonged too. I got so tired of hearing how I don't "act like the others" and how "I speak so well". I used to be a mod in a guild, and no one could understand why I didn't like the young White southerner using the word "nigger" all of the time.
That was years ago, back when before 2008. I'm sure there are a lot more Black folks and other ethinc groups around.
Seeing how Ron was welcomed, let me know that I would be ok.
Ron is hardly black though is the thing Queena
Queena, I don't even know some of these people's gender, much less race! We're all pink on the inside!

He seems like such a cool guy.
That totally sums my little brother up (not so little anymore at 40). We used to have these indepth discussions about their lyrics, philosophies, etc. I think he analyzed everything they did. Talked to him a little later last night. He is really taking it bad. I guess it's a big chunk of his teen years gone.
He said he just saw the band in New Orleans a few months ago. He made it a point to see them every chance he could. He had met Dave Brockie several times over the years. He said he was an extremely nice person who took the time to talk with his fans.
It's still weird accepting that my younger brother is 40, has a family, and a Master's Degree. He used to look like Scott Ian, with the tats and little goatee.

I love you too! And everyone!
I get the total opposite of the no tip thing, they always act surprised that I tip. My Mom was a over tipper, she would tip $40 on a $80. When I was a kid, I would steal a $20, they got more in tips than I did for allowance. I also knew she was doing it to cover the sins of the race...
Gender is another thing, men would just die if you were a real life girl. I miss those early Internet days.
Aren't these the same guys that have the huge creepy Vagiana thingy?
I don't know how to spell pussy shit!!!! lol
Wendy O would have been great with Gwar, but she has been dead a long time.

I like GWAR. I never got to see them live, but I imagine that the show will go on. They've changed members more than any other band I can think of. They'll be back. Won't be the same without Brockie, though.

I saw them at a club back in the day, very entertaining. I knew we were in trouble when I saw the ceiling fans in the back wrapped in plastic. You came out of those shows tie died.
Never heard of this band before. But I'm not into that type of music so it's not surprising I wouldn't know of them.
My sister wanted to go to a concert in San Francisco and couldn't find anyone to go, and I felt bad so I told her I would go with her, even though I HATE the type of music she loves. I guess it was her favorite 3 bands playing so it was a big deal to her. We went a few days ago, on Tuesday. The whole time the bands were playing, I just kept thinking it was too loud and everyone around me was dancing and no one had any rhythm at all. It was almost embarrassing to see. Maybe I am just getting old
By the way, the bands were Tonight Alive, Taking Back Sunday and The Used. I can't believe I remembered all the names! haha
