Taking over ICU units, telling other families that they don't give a fuck, taking over middle school graduations by threatening bad press. The list goes on. Bowie said "Ignorant as fuck". I say "Belligerent as fuck".

There's nothing "Christian" about these folks with threatening neighborhood kids and swearing like a sailor. Quite frankly, as dumb as the Schivo folks seem to be.... It still surprises me that they would have anything to do with them.

Yeah, I was going to say, I no longer think they're religious zealots, I think they're stupid trash being used by the religious nuts and in return using them for money.

Sorry if this has been covered- on the new beginnings fb page they are questioning the credentials and whether there is any licensing for the staff or the facility??
    https://www.facebook.com/www.nbli.org
"I would like to see licensing, credentials, professional qualifications, etc. for the people involved with this organization. If they are refusing to answer the very basic questions around their qualifications, then that raises the logical question for anyone out there that this place is not what it appears. There are many "organizations" who are simply fundraisers, and looking at their site that is all it appears to be - a fundraiser who pays salaries to the owners, but nothing more. I would ask anyone experiencing a traumatic situation to ask the proper questions and seek out a legitimate, qualified organization. This clearly is not one. Sure, the owner states a family member went through a serious injury - but that alone does not qualify someone to take care of your loved ones. That does not make them an expert. Instead, 10 years of medical school, degrees, licenses, etc. makes someone qualified. Please ask the owners what medical school, what license, what qualifications they have. I have a feeling you will get the expected answer. NONE."

I don't think even a quack can do anything with Jahi. They probably have her in a freezer somewhere. I think all those pictures of her were taken when she was back in Children's Hospital. There's not 1 full figure pic. Who uploads pictures of hands and feet?

Oh yeah, I think that puppet looking woman is the founder of New Beginnings. Compare her regular photos with the ones in the get-up. They do nothing but have "fundraisers", which actually look more like expensive outings. They throw in a few posts for legitimate organizations to make them look credible. I've wasted enough time on that page.

Make no mistake ... Jahi's mom/family are not religious people. They "found religion" when they needed a legal argument for court ... and when the only people who would help them were right-to-lifers. That was apparent from the beginning.

But, as many others have said about this situation, keeping Jahi's deteriorating body going while claiming she's being healed by God is ... just no. It shows a complete lack of faith, contrary to what they'd have everyone believe.

I think Nahlia is sick in the head. I can think of no other explanation for why she would sit around "playing spa" with her daughter's corpse while her living children languish on the other side of the country without their mom. Sick, sick.

Jahi has become her religion. Anyone who decorates a little girl's graduation cap and gown with "Jahi Arise" (or whatever it said) ... ugh. She thinks Jahi is the new messiah.

I just can't believe that Catholic children's hospital has allowed this to go on under its roof all this time. Almost nine months now, right? Wth.

The only person I saw that was remotely qualified for anything was a board certified nutritionist. I really don't know how much help a nutritionist would provide for a TBI patient.

This Christian agrees with you 100%. If they truly are Christians, then let her go on to the afterlife. To Heaven, where she can have a new body and be completely healed and never suffer again. Contrary to what Ron thinks, most Christians aren't anti-science or anti-medicine, and we do know that doctors know a few things. Death is a part of life. I'm sorry that Jahi's death came so young, but it's long past time to let her go. :(

You know, even if they weren't Christians and didn't believe in an afterlife, this wouldn't make sense. I mean, she's not really alive. How can anyone call what she is doing "living?" :(

St. Peter's is a major up-to-date teaching hospital. Don't think it's some little right-to-life nutbox clinic. It educates doctors, it doesn't preach. As a teaching hospital, they are open to new and experimental ideas. Religion may have been a foot in the door, but the possibility of a medical breakthrough was the hook.

Saint Peter's University Hospital is a 478-bed acute-care teaching hospital sponsored by the Roman Catholic Diocese of Metuchen. Saint Peter's is a state-designated children's hospital and a regional perinatal center, and is a regional specialist in geriatrics, oncology, orthopedics, women's services and ambulatory care.

Catholics believe the soul leaves the body at the moment of death. Then we treat the corpse with respect and bury it. I don't think any of those photos were taken at St. Peter's or she has occupied a hospital bed there. She has to be frozen. Whether it's in a regular freezer or an attempt to keep her preserved until someone figures out how to revive a corpse - she's on ice.

The photos of all the vitamins supposedly on hand for Jahi, looks more like some store's shelves to me. It's ridiculous. They expect us to believe they're grinding all that stuff up in a blender or something and tubing it into her -

I did not mean to imply that St. Peter's was a nutbox ... actually, what I meant was just the opposite. I'm surprised that hospital would let this insanity go on there. The right-to-lifers I was referring to are the Schiavos and New Beginnings and Priests for Life and all the folks who started coming out of the woodwork when this first started.

I'll have to find it to be certain, but I believe it was one of the major network local affiliates California that first reported she was at St. Peter's (and that she had been there the whole time, although when the rest of the media picked up the story, they made it sound like she was recently moved there). Anyway, I was under the impression that they had absolute confirmation of it ... not that the family just told them that or something. I don't know.

I didn't think you were. Still, I can't imagine where they would hide her in that place. http://www.saintpetershcs.com/spchildrenshospital/
It's not a charity thing either, they want insurance. No other families have been complaining. Reporters haven't been able to find a hint of her being there. imho SHE' NOT THERE.

Here's my thing ... the hand pics. We know Nahlia posted two different hand pics many months ago, and Jahi's hands looked worse in the second than the first (and the second one was of a St. Patty's manicure, iirc).

Now we see all these undated hand pics (from the link Andrea posted yesterday) in which the hands start look even more terrible. They look progressively more puffy and gnarled, and in one pic she has what looks like sores on her fingers.

So, unless Nahlia gave Jahi a couple dozen different manicures during the 26 days she was at Children's Oakland and saved photos of them in some grand plan to release them one at a time as if Jahi is still "alive," then I think Jahi had to have been moved somewhere and remained there on a ventilator for at least several months.

I'm not gonna swear she's at St. Peter's, but I don't think she's been in a freezer this whole time, either.

She should be in the ground, buried. My heart goes out to the kids left behind while Momma eats lobster and drinks her brains out. She is disrespectful, crude, and other descriptives I can't even begin to think of. Let the girl go for God's sake. She.is.dead. She ain't comin' back.

Forgot to add that the photo of her lips really creeped me out. Most of the pics did.

Die Choking Streaming New Track "Tonsil"
posted Sep 16 2014 at 2:32 PM by xFiruath. (0 Comments)

Now just two weeks from release is the second 7" from Philadelphia-based hyperthrash/grindcore trio Die Choking, simply entitled "II."

As the September 29th release date approaches, today Cvlt Nation has leaked a new track from the decimating EP. Check out "Tonsil" below.

With the vinyl version of the EP, the band is including a printed document which will serve as a legal, personal Living Will, to memorialize one's final wishes upon their time of death. Founding bassist/vocalist Paul J. Herzog coments:

"This song is a dedication to the memory of Jahi McMath who died on December 12th 2013. Despite the absolute, irreversible nature of brain death she (as far as I know) remains on 'life' support. The controversy of this is obvious but my interest is geared more towards the broader subject of CHOICE in regards to medical treatment during end of life scenarios. It is unfortunate, but families often contradict explicit wishes of dying loved ones. The severe and painful nature of pursuing a 'do everything you can' mentality is dire to say the least. This, to me, is pure tragedy. My goal is to open the dialogue a bit and introduce a tool to communicate the questions one needs to ask should they or a loved one be in a life threatening or life ending circumstance. Most people WILL end up THERE and not simply die in their sleep nor arrive to a facility DOA."

according to The Uniform Definition of Death Act (1981): an individual who has sustained either 1) irreversible cessation of all functions of circulatory and respiratory functions, or 2) irreversible cessation of all functions of the entire brain, including the brain stem, is dead.

i'm studying death, dying, and grief, and found this interesting.
