    Brock A. Miller, 19, of Volga, passed away Wednesday, March 25, 2009, at Buckhannon, WV.

    He was born Feb. 20, 1990, in Harrison County.

    He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Lisa A. Miller and Robert Frye of Volga; three sisters, Patricia Miller of Clarksburg, Jessica Miller of Nashville, Tenn., and Breanna Frye of Volga; his brother, Brennan Frye of Volga; and his fiance, Breanna Cutright, and their daughter, Brooklyn Miller of Buckhannon. Also surviving are five uncles, Dean Miller of Clarksburg, Barry Miller and Danny Miller, both of Buckhannon, Terry Miller of Volga and John Miller of Alabama; and two aunts, Kathryn Boyles of Scott Depot and Dyann Daugherty of Philippi.

    He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jessie and Sylvia Fox Miller; and uncle, Ronnie A. Miller.

    Brock graduated with the class of 2007 from Cornell Abraxia Academy of South Mountain, Pa. He enjoyed his family and friends.

    Friends will be received from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Tomblyn Whitescarver Funeral Chapel where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Sunday, March 29, with burial following in the Heavner Cemetery.

    Brock Adam Miller, 18, of Volga, was indicted for grand larceny, a felony; attempted breaking and entering, a felony; conspiracy, a felony, two counts; petit larceny, a misdemeanor, 14 counts; and conspiracy, a misdemeanor, seven counts.
    Miller allegedly conspired with a juvenile and broke into several homes in September and October 2008. The items taken were valued around $3,500.

    He was meant to goto trial on April 22

    Brock Adam Miller, of Volga who was indicted on numerous felony and misdemeanor counts had his trial date set for April 22. Pre-trial motions will be heard April 2 with jury selection set for 7. Miller is represented by Steven Nanners.

    BUCKHANNON -- One man is dead after an accident on Tallmansville Road in Upshur County, Wednesday afternoon.
    The accident happened around 2:15 p.m., says Upshur County Sheriff Virgil Miller.

    William Merryman, 19 of Buckhannon, was driving downhill on the road when he lost control of his Jeep Wrangler, says Miller.

    Merryman hit a culvert and the jeep flipped over.

    His passenger, Brock Miller, 19 of Volga, died at the scene.

    Merryman was flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital, in Morgantown, with non-life threatening injuries.

    He has since been released from the hospital, officials say.
