A preliminary autopsy report has not yet been made in the death of 30-year-old Camille Goodman of Riverton who died early Sunday morning at the Riverton hospital. Her death is also not suspicious, but Coroner Ed McAuslan said any time young people die, an autopsy is ordered to determine what the manner and cause of death is. The autopsy was planned for Monday in Loveland.

I can almost guarantee that the stress of her son's death was one of the contributors to her death.

From reading her facebook page...you could tell she had serious problems with alcohol abuse. Very sad.

    Anyway, here is her COD.

RIVERTON ? The Fremont County coroner says 30-year-old Camille Goodman died of natural causes. She died earlier in the month at the hospital in Riverton. The cause of her death, according to Coroner Ed McAuslan?s verdict docket, was complications brought on by chronic alcohol abuse. She also had marijuana in her system. The verdict and case docket was released this morning. She died on April 7th, just 15 days shy of her birthday.

Not that it matters much, but her whole family at one time was a huge criminal organization. The DEA named the operation the Goodman Drug Trafficking Organization (DTO) operating on the Wind River Indian Reservation (WRIR or Reservation) and in Fremont County has been dismantled. There's even a family tree chart.
    http://www.justice.gov/dea/pubs/stat...ver053105.html

The Goodman DTO is responsible for distributing methamphetamine, cocaine, marijuana, and diverted prescription painkillers, such as Oxycodone (OxyContin), Hydrocodone (Vicodin), and Proxyphene (Darvocet), to residents of the Reservation and Fremont County. Investigators estimate that the Goodman DTO distributed at least one pound of methamphetamine each month to clients on the reservation.
Camille was also arrested in this bust.

It must be really hard to google a relative and find a random forum where people are talking about a loved one. I'm not sure what the point is of looking up all of the mistakes that someone has made in their life and posting them because they are angry to find their loved one being discussed by strangers.

Once upon a time we used to tell the angry relative that we were sorry for their loss and that they'd stumbled across us discussing their relative. Apparently we don't do that any more and if I'm honest, that makes me ashamed.

Tashina, I'm sorry for your loss

    RIP Camille

That was well said and I know its not easy to come across personal information. However, if people would just take a moment or two to read what our posters say, I think some family members might actually feel more at ease. None of us here are judgmental and we don't make fun of the dead or how they die. I've found this forum to be very respectful.

I agree but I think some times that they are angry and confused by what they've found.

Also you say that none of us here are judgemental but I'm not sure if you saw what was originally posted that I was responding to. I didn't quote it on purpose and the post has been edited. It was definitely judgemental. Thank you Bewitchingstorm for removing what you posted.

Are you confusing judgmental and factual? I didn't see anything that wasn't true.

Why post a list of someone's past crimes when they've come here purely because they found their love one being discussed? The only reason would be to humiliate and goad that person.

I don't give a shit if it's factual. What about having a bit of empathy for someone?

She came out swinging and got swung back. Hard to have empathy for a scrapper.

and this is my point. I get that you are new here. We used to have rules about interacting with relatives and they involved showing some compassion. Not being a dick to them because they are angry.

If a relative constantly posted abusive messages then it was game on. She posted once. Relatives are often angry in their first post because they don't understand what they have found.

Many of us have made an insensitive comment to an irate family member in a reflex reaction. I know I have. Got called on it too. There's a difference with making that your initial response or waiting until the scrapper continues to be an asshole. Usually, people respond sympathetically and the family member realizes that we aren't as bad as they thought.

I'm also sorry for your loss, Tashina.
