(CBS) ? A Prospect Heights teen used an iPad to arrange what he thought would be an encounter with a prostitute but instead got robbed of the electronic device and a piggybank after being pepper-sprayed, police said.
The 14-year-old victim set up the meeting online using a website for sexual liaisons, Prospect Heights police said.
When the woman arrived at the teen?s residence Wednesday, she reportedly told him to undress. Then she allegedly used pepper spray on him and fled with his iPad, a piggybank and a jar full of money, authorities said.
Police were able to track the suspect when she later used the iPad.
Charged with one count of armed robbery was Dareka Brooks, 22, of Milwaukee, whose bond was set at $10,000. Her next court appearance is set for May 31.
The teen victim is safe, police said.
