A third person has died -

A THIRD man has died after consuming homemade spirits at a property in Ballandean, near Stanthorpe, in Queensland, at the weekend.
Vincent Summers, 26, died in the Princess Alexandra Hospital last night where his friend, Joshua Lynam, 26, remains in a serious condition this morning.
The homemade concoction is believed to be responsible for the deaths of Joshua's 21-year-old brother, Joel and friend Bryan Wilmot, 30.
Police have continued to comb the rural Ballandean property for clues which could help shine further light on the tragedy, which has already been labelled the worst home brewing accident in Australian history.
Police have also seized a quantity of alcohol from the property with tests to be carried out.

I had a friend I worked with in the US that lived in Canada as a teenager. She said alcohol was lots cheaper in the states so they would go over the border and poor the vodka that they bought into anti-freeze bottles of all things. Well one night at a party one of her friends drank from one of the jugs that had actual anti-freeze in it. Sad state if affairs.

The father of a man who died after drinking home brew at a birthday party has told of performing CPR on his son as an ambulance rushed to the property.

Bill Lynam lost his son Joel in the tragedy at a property, west of Brisbane, earlier this month. Two other young men, Bryan Wilmot and Vincent Summers, also died from suspected alcohol poisoning.

Mr Lynam's other son Joshua has been released from hospital and while he was "fragile" and in shock, he was recovering, Mr Lynam said in a statement on Monday.
