    Beer and Wine Thread

I love ales mostly.  I'd suggest anything from the Wychwood Brewery; Hobgoblin, Wychcraft, Fiddlers Elbow.

I tried a chili beer a couple weeks ago.  It was good with food, but I think getting drunk on it would be a horrible idea.

It's also impossible for Sam Adams to make a bad beer.

    I looooooove cider.  Any cider.

As far as wines go, I am not a wine expert by any means, but my BFF is and we both LOVE Conundrum white wine. It's delicious!!! It's sold in better restaurants here for $60+ a bottle. But you can get it at Wal-Mart for about $13.  :-D

    Re: Beer and Wine Thread

I don't drink beer unless it's free, and box wine tastes like bottled wine to me.

I'm more of a hard alcohol kind of gal.

    Sorry.

I used to like Blue Moon with the orange, but it does make it too sweet.  A small slice of lemon makes it good.

    Fat Tire I love.

I also drink Rogue Dead Guy Ale, Shiner Bock, Arrogant Bastard Ale (when I can find it), Magic Hat #9, and just about any Canadian Beer.  Especially Molson XXX.

When we go to the german bar...just about every week we drink liter mugs of Kostritzer.  It's a real good dark lager.

    Southern Comfort
    Jamesons
    Wild Turkey
    Seagrams
    Crown Royal

    Jose Cuervo

but I do have a pretty long list of beers I enjoy:

    Saranac Caramel Porter
    Saranac Mocha Stout
    Youngs Double Chocolate Stout
    Stella Artois
    Beck's Dark
    Fullers London Porter
    Sam Adams Scotch Ale
    Smithwicks
    Wolavers Oatmeal Stout
    St. Pauli Girl
    Yuengling
    Rouge Chocolate Stout
    Victory Hop Devil
    Anchor Porter
    Blue Moon Pumpkin Ale
    Spaten Oktoberfest
    Old Rasputin Russian Stout
    Whitbread Pale Ale

....that's all i can think of right now. I'm sure there are more.
