For the righties who despise liberals: (Spoiler alert, it's Glenn Beck. He's a nutter, but in this case, he has this pretty much right) http://beforeitsnews.com/u-s-politic...w-2446642.html

There's no way to find a non-partisan look at this issue. People on the left will dismiss this as a bunch of white noise the Republicans are spewing. They accuse Republicans of using this to political advantage. And they're right, of course. Republicans are running with this.

I think they should. This is beyond the pale, really. Obama lied about the protests, lied about the video that led up to the fake protests -- and those lies in turn fed the flames for REAL protests, where at least 80 more people died and hundreds more were injured. He did it to cover his ass, to hide the ineptitude in his administration, because it was election time.

While the Americans in Benghazi were left to fend for themselves and the people who were ready to go aid them were told to stand down, Obama went to bed, and then he went to a fundraiser.

It's like the "Fast and Furious" program -- Obama didn't know. Whenever somebody dies, or things get messy, suddenly Obama doesn't know a damn thing. He just shakes his head and looks at the camera and soulfully tells people that all this bad stuff is just a political witch-hunt against him.

    Yeah, sure it is, buddy.

Ooooh, and hey, while we're on the subject of conspiracies....

What's this about the IRS going after right-wing groups??

Oooh, and hey, there's been all kinds of fun news about the AP phone records being seized by the Justice Department!!!!!

It's kind of good that Obama go re-elected, otherwise we might be missing out on finding out how jacked up the government truly is. Wheeeeeeeeeeee.

Here's a little Jon Stewart as a consolation prize:

    http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mo...-into-darkness

    A. You're doing it wrong.

    B. If you can say Obama "lied" about a video which caused "real" protests that killed a couple hundred people, then I can say Bush "lied" about his knowledge on tension in the middle east and what happened on 9/11 - which killed fucking thousands. In the middle of our greatest city. And changed life as we knew it FOR EVER.

Now go find me a senator that protests gay marriage and was caught with gay porn.

Posting links without even paraphrasing them does not state your case. Please refer to the 20 previous posts for a demonstration of what we're looking for, here.

Get a meme. Find a picture. Slap a quote on it and laugh about how stupid it is.

This is not a thread to debate serious politics.

    Demonstration:

Tell me more about how your political view as a woman reveals that women shouldn't have political views.

Funny how Conservatives always forget about the WMD lies that got us into Iraq.

Ahh Fuck me, I've got one of the greatest Democratic political failures as a former mayor...

To be fair, I forgot to even classify him as a political figure because he sucks so bad.

Don't let any facts get in the way of your delusions. The IRS didn?t just target conservative groups. They also questioned the tax exempt status of liberal groups too.

In 2012, The Chicago Tribune reported on the IRS denying tax exempt status to a liberal political group,

The IRS announced in May and June that it took the actions against two groups defined as tax-exempt under the 501(c)(4) section of the tax code. The IRS on Thursday declined comment on its tax-exempt final rulings. Tax-exempt groups raising money for both major political parties ahead of the Nov. 6 election walk a fine line between promoting ?social welfare? for tax-exempt purposes and purely political interests.

A 501(c)(4) group denied tax-exempt status by the IRS would run afoul of Federal Election Commission rules and could be
required to disclose its donors. Emerge America, a group which helps Democratic women seeking elected office, said it lost it tax-exempt status last October. The IRS invoked the ?private benefit doctrine? barring 501(c)(4) status for any group promoting a candidate or political party. The IRS announced its final decision in May.

In June the IRS said it denied 501(c)(4) tax-exemption for an unnamed political group also under the private benefit doctrine. The IRS is barred by law from disclosing the group?s name and the group has not publicly identified itself. The group had one objective: to serve the political goals of its founder, the IRS said. A 501(c)(4) group can spend some funds on political advocacy, but electioneering cannot be its sole reason for existence or comprise a majority of its spending.

It looks like the IRS was not just targeting conservative groups, but was targeting political action groups who may have been violating the tax exemption guidelines. If the IRS wasn?t targeting conservatives, but trying to deal with the surge of dark money groups applying for tax exempt status, this story takes on an entirely different context.

Reuters has obtained part of a yet to be released report from the Treasury Inspector General for Tax Administration (TIGTA) that confirms that the IRS was targeting groups on the left and right who focused their activities on advocating for expanding or limiting of the size of the government. The report also states that the screening process was not influenced by the Obama administration, and that none of the groups screened were denied tax exempt status.

Without the claims of a partisan witch hunt against conservative groups, this latest Republican fueled Obama scandal is set to lose all of its sizzle.

Someone calling themselves the Tea Party thinks it's unfair that they have to pay taxes. Not shocking.

I think all politicians are assholes. pretty much sums it up. I will try to do better with my next asshole pol next time I promise.
I just dislike Max because he is a democrat from Montana, which, unless you are a transplant or live in the liberal western part, is rare. Ranching, guns, hunting, pretty standard stuff in MT, and he is all "save the earth" and shit.
I don't like repooblicans, or tea parties, or liberals that are political. I like people. I don't like politics.
And, on a side note, that is what my worthless bachelor's degree is.

Uh, I don't think being interested in saving the environment in a beautiful state qualifies as an asshole move.

you are absolutely one hundred percent correct. However,he gave a speech on how devastating logging has been in the state. then he flipflopped on clear cuts (logging) in the rattlesnake valley where I used to live. an untouched glorious place. he sold out. I meant it with greatest sarcasm and should have explained why i don't deal well with his hypocrisy. I am bitter.

Because it's true. They watch FAUX News and read WND, Breitbart and think Coulter, Malkin, etc are the bomb.

Paraphrasing what Jack Nicholson said "They can't handle the truth"

This weekend, Virginia Republicans found their candidate for lieutenant governor in E.W. Jackson, a Chesapeake, Va. pastor who has compared Planned Parenthood to the Ku Klux Klan and also suggested that black Americans are being enslaved by the Democratic Party.

I don't follow politics at all but when I opened up the news paper and saw the front page of our mayor candidates in Pittsburgh I had to do a double take. Then today my aunt told me about this: http://www.wtae.com/news/politics/Pi...z/-/index.html
