Boston PD says that the library was a fire, not an explosion. But, I don't think they've ruled it in or out as being related.

CNN reporting that Boston Police say they have no one in custody.

I live about a four minute walk to Times square. Now saying they released person of interest. No suspects.

A third explosion occurred just after 3 this afternoon at John F. Kennedy library in what is now being called another confirmed attack.

Boston Police Commissioner Edward Davis said “a third incident — explosion — was at the JFK Library” on Columbia Point.

“This is very much an ongoing event,” Davis said. “Stay home ... don’t congregate in large crowds.”

Shortly around 3 p.m. alarms went off at the library and black smoke poured from the historic building, filling the sky over the harbor.

The fire broke out as emergency crews were responding to two deadly explosions at the Marathon finish line.

JFK library director Tom Putnam was aware of the damage to the building, but said no injuries were reported.

Boston ladder trucks rushed to the scene and firefighters could be seen on the roof.
