Yeah. It doesn't. But two explosions in two different spots? I'm not so sure.

Well they said the explosions were seconds apart, but I believe they were opposite sides of the street.

Police prepared to carry out a controlled explosion on a 3rd possible device.

It doesn't but it's entirely possibly it was a subway malfunction, not North Korea invading on Islamic camels.

And window being blown out doesn't have anything to do with a bomb being in a building. If a bomb was in a building, they would have way bigger problems than windows. The shock waves from an exterior explosion would cause the windows to shatter.

Around 10 mins ago Sky News UK had 5 dead, 23 injured on the scrolling banner. Changed to 2 dead just as I was copying link. Not sure if anyone has seen the personal video of runners falling yards apart, where the guy's shouting about ballbearings. I don't have a link to that, but it was shown on SN repeatedly. They've not shown it past half hour. It could be debris, of course, and he appears to be told to 'put those down sir', though the dude shouting at him looks like a steward.

I am about a 40 minute drive from Boston. I have friends that run this marathon, I have been a spectator in past years. It is a huge event that draws runners from all over the world. Thank God that Boston has some of the best hospitals in the world....I heard that at least 2 are dead, and 23 injured (numbers are still being confirmed). Scary stuff.

I am listening to local coverage. 2 dead, 23 hurt. Media is in lockdown, at a hotel near the scene. Right now, the scene is swarming with bomb squad members, national guard. They have brought in dogs, and reports of 2 more devices found (that did not detonate).

I'm watching TV. They say two dead. New york Post is not usually reliable. This is awful. I have been to a couple Boston M. Lived right down street cuz went to college there. Amazing more were not killed. Poor people.

Wow, I sure hope that's incorrect. I've heard 2 or 3, depending on the source. That is horrific enough, but 12?

Their sources are apparently "federal law enforcement officials", which would make it seem likely, I'm just unsure why they would be the only ones reporting such a high number. I hope the Post is mistaken.
