Katie Wick.
She attends court a lot, and then gives her opinion on what happened that day with great enthusiam on the Dr Drew show each night.
She is blonde and young and pretty, and wears lots of makeup, and she either spray or real tans a lot, so people think she looks orange. She is just a regular person who somehow got sucked into the media circus that is this tirla.
(She is also a conservative nutbag, and seems to be wrangling to try and get some gig out of this "fame".)

HLN's JC 'defiant' woman wasn't a juror. Now if Chris Williams can so easily verify this, WTH is wrong with sleazy HLN staff?!

The Dr. Drew show has 2 women he sends into the trial every day, he calls them his "jurors". Katie is one of them. She talks a lot. Usually the second juror varies. Neither of the jurors are paid, Katie says that she is interested in Law and wants experience. But she does love Juan! 1 thing good. She is blonde and orange, I mean tan!
Listening to some of the opinions on TV is torture. They speculate on which jury is holding out and why. The reasons they give are enough to make me want to scream, so infantile and senseless are they. That judge moron man on HLN - Judge Snide or Snipe or whatever... Arghhhhhhh.
When will the jury be allowed to speak to the press? Does anyone know, please? Will the rejected jurors be allowed to speak on the verdict?

And she (Deanna) takes good care of Napolean and truly loves that little guy. Glad Travis thought to name her as his guardian/new mom.
A person of courage and class, dignity and grace, just a few of the thoughts that come to mind when I think of Deanna. How blessed Travis was to have had her in his life, albeit too briefly, and how blessed is dear little Napoleon, having her as his furever mommy. Travis knew her to be a truly caring soul when he chose to name her in his will, to be his caretaker should anything happen to him; that with her he would be loved unconditionally, forever. Deanna's clarion call during this most difficult time, her advocacy for Travis and his family, has no doubt been a source of great comfort to all who knew and loved Travis, and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts.

Ha! HLN says in one of their flow charts, that this trial has lasted 57 days, yet they continue to say "day 3" of deliberations. Oh so typical.
After the trial is over, including the penaly phase, they should all be permitted to speak, though that directive from the judge usually comes with the caveat that they are not compelled to speak, can refuse if they choose to. The court also usually makes sure, once the trial is over, that the jury members are safely escorted off the court grounds w/o being assaulted by the media.
For those jurors who do choose to speak out, sometimes the court will provide a place for them to hold a press conference.

Good morning all... I can't remember if they played the 911 call for the jury. Also what happened to Bobby Juarez? Did he die? I finally was able to sign in and post for the first time, now that it's almost over. You guys are awesome and I just wanted to let you know before they close this thread. So many times I was screaming at the TV but couldn't vent. I've been following since Jodi took the stand and caught up watching videos and reading your posts. I actually drug my husband into the case! It's so sad how Travis's murder has consumed so much of our lives. What to do when this is over... I pray for 1st degree and hope Travis's family can finally get justice served!
Okay....I have got my energy sustaining yogurt granola bar, fresh cup of coffee, tylenol (for the headache I will develop), soy candle lit in my little zen garden....bring ON that Arizona State Seal!!!!!!!!

Stupid question:
(Yes, I joined because I just *had* to ask some group that might know.)
I'm sure it's been discussed, but...where was Matt McCartney during the murder? I can't imagine Jodi would take a bullet for anyone (including herself), but why is he conspicuously missing from the testimony and any mention of participation in the murder?
You may flog me now for not being able to locate this information by now...
Are they serious? DT filed DISCOVERY OF VICTIM IMPACT EVIDENCE motion today. Means they want to know in advance what Travis' family is going to say at sentencing hearing.
Someone please shoot that HLN "Judge" with the annoying voice & poor English ..... and put me out of my misery.
What a maroon. What an ignoranimus.
