I think Dr. Geffner just shot Dr. Samuels in the foot. Samuels specifically mentioned how he did not re-test Jodi after finding out she was lying prior to the test. By Geffner's testimony, Samuels should have re-tested.

Right, but it's not paid to him personally. He makes the same salary whether he testifies or not. The institute he works for gets the money. So there is no incentive to pad hours or even testify, unlike "some other people".
