Dalton Proctor, 17, of McCool died Thursday, March 26, 2009. Funeral services were held Sunday, March 29, at 2 p.m. at Jordan Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Carson Ridge Cemetery.

Rev. Doyle Mitchell and Rev. David Rogers officiated. Jordan Funeral Home handled arrangements.

Mr. Proctor was an honor student at Ethel High School, and was twice the recipient of the Star Award at the Kosciusko-Attala Vo-Tech Center. He was a member of the Beta Club, football and power lifting teams at Ethel High School.

He was employed with Sunflower. He enjoyed hunting, four wheeler riding, mud riding and his camouflage truck was his heart. He was a member of Ethel Baptist Church.

He is survived by his parents, Michael and Tammy Alderman Proctor of McCool; grandparents, Ronny and Judy Bishop of McAdams, and Patricia Proctor of Ethel; one very special aunt, Bourbon Boatner of Plattsburg, MS; six uncles, two aunts, a host of cousins; and his girlfriend, Mary McClelland.

He was preceded in death by his grandpas, Larry Alderman and Arnell Proctor; his great-grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Victor Roarke, and Mr. and Mrs. Clyde Kelley.

Pallbearers were Jonathan Bishop, Kendal Bishop, Kenny Bishop, B.J. Bishop, Hunter Dempsey, Joseph Fox, Mark Justice, and Kevin Tharp.

Honorary pallbearers were members of the Junior class of Ethel High School.
