I went back and tried to find where all this came about. If I am reading into your comment correctly, I think you were saying that if the guy enjoyed watching the life go out of the deer, he didn't have your sympathy. Not that he was hunting the deer, right? I think I grasped that you don't agree with hunting, and that's ok too, but I think your biggest issue was that he enjoyed watching the deer die.
I don't hunt. I don't want to hunt. I can't stand the thought of hurting animals. Buuuut, I do eat meat. I just don't want to be the one to kill them. I respect those who don't eat meat and I respect the hunters who feed me. I'm a lover.
If the dude enjoyed watching that, would he also kill other animals for shits and giggles? Jeffery Dahmer killed animals for fun as a child.
I am also considering the source of the comment as someone pointed out. I'm not saying this kid did this, or enjoyed it, but if he did.
