I've tried copying the link location and putting it in the little video box in the post box, here. I've tried copy pasta the link and put it in the post box. I've tried loading it to tinypic and copying it into the video box here. I've tried it from multiple sites and I can't get any of them to show the gif, just the link thingy. It happens sometimes and I can't figure out how to fix them.

Put your cursor over the picture or gif and right click. When dialogue box opens, highlight and copy (Ctrl C) address/URL. Go to the MDS comment area and click cursor as if you are starting to type(but don't type). In the task bar above the comment area click on the picture icon. When that dialogue box opens, paste (Ctrl V) and click OK. Then click post. I use Go Advance to preview first unless I'm in a hurry.

Ok, I have no idea what you just said, but I noticed when I opened the dialogue box it had 'copy image location,' 'copy image link,' so I clicked on that and came here and copied it into the image icon instead of the video icon. I think that's been the problem. I keep trying to use the video icon on all of them, because they are animated. Thanks for the help!

the forum is kind of crappy. unfortunately most forums are crappy. it should recognize what you're trying to do and make it work without having to be so complicated.
