Someone shot my window while I was at my cousin's last night. I didn't hear it but when I came out to leave, it was still crackling. Her sister-in-law's window got shot out last week. Fucking awesome stupid town I live in. I hate it.

Its not really a POS. Just needs some TLC. Its a fucking Honda. This thing will run forever. I am in the process of getting it together. I have the paint and everything for it. Just trying to get some free time to do the body work and shit.

Hondas do run forever as long as you take care of them. I got mine for $500, it looked bad but it ran good. If you don't mind my advice (bcz people do feel I'm useless-LOL)....don't start working on the car til you have the time to do it right, the first time around. Good luck with it and post photos when you're done.

The one we race at is just at a farmers field. The family that built it just loves to race, so the just figured "If you build it they will come".

The husband bought another bike this past monday:

1100 Honda Shadow. He's going to re-paint it. A Dr owned it and he had the tank painted and pin striped and then they wrote 'Hardley Davidson' on it. So lame. Hubby is awesome at painting so it's going to be a pearl white with either a blue or black speckle.


So, this is my new bike. Yamaha Vstar 650. Perfect size for me. I gave my husband my backrest and Im also taking the back seat off because I will never have people riding my bike with me. Im also going to replace those saddlebags with leather ones. I want some pink on the bike somewhere but I want it somewhere that I can change it easily if I decide to sell it. Im thinking the leather that goes over the top of the tank might change from the black to a pink with the chrome. There is more leather underneath the back seat also that will show and ill match that to the tank.

No you don't. My cousin did a crash up derby once, a few years ago, and he still has lingering effects from it. He always says if knew then, what he knows now, he wouldn't do it.

Do they have any safety guidelines for those derby's? Ive always wondered because I thought it looked fun too.

I wanna know if they require certain things like a roll cage, 5 point harnesses, helmets, fire extinguishers.....

Helmet and fire extinguisher is all he had to have. He used the regular seatbelt, and there was no roll cage. I have a picture of the car somewhere. I'll have to see if I can find it.
