I just saw in the mail that she had been smothered, has anyone mentioned any sexual abuse? They haven't mentioned anything so far in the news that I can see, I know this is a completely rank thing to say but maybe he was trying for a hatrick? *shudder*

A friend and I were discussing the case yesterday and I said that I thought it was probably sexually motivated. Stuart has given me the skeeves since I first saw him on tv pleading for Tia to come home.

I did link a couple of videos but they are pulling them all from the internet. There were transcripts of the interview online but I couldn't even find those when I searched at the weekend. They did the same thing once everyone realised that Ian Huntley was the Soham killer.

He just came across as a total liar and a twat. He was asked to explain the events leading up to Tia leaving the house and he launched in to this long ramble that made no sense. He did that think that piss poor liars do where they over elaborate on their story in the hope that it sounds more convincing. He went on and on and on and on.

Yeah, I just had a look too & everything's been removed. I thought I might be able to find a transcript, but nothing. Maybe someone else can have any luck? I heard he was saying things about Tia in the past tense? Is that true?

Yes. I posted about that earlier. In most of the interview he talks about her in the present tense but several times he slipped into past tense.

A pathologist found no obvious major injuries to her body, leading to the theory that she was smothered or strangled.

An initial examination apparently uncovered bruising but forensic experts have been hampered by the badly decomposed state of the corpse when it was finally recovered from the sweltering roof space last Friday.

Although Tia had clearly been dead for some time, officers have not been able to rule out that the schoolgirl was alive when colleagues first visited the council house in New Addington, near Croydon, South London, after she vanished a week earlier.

Tia has been formally identified and the post-mortem is complete but there is no formal cause of death

This story is so sad. Especially that line "Although Tia had clearly been dead for some time, officers have not been able to rule out that the schoolgirl was alive when colleagues first visited the council house in New Addington, near Croydon, South London, after she vanished a week earlier. " though I doubt she was, but that just made it a little bit worse.

    RIP Tia.

'I regret it every second of every day': Tia Sharp murder suspect wrote to his father from prison to claim her death was an accident and beg for forgiveness

The man accused of killing schoolgirl Tia Sharp claimed her death was an accident and said he regrets it 'every second of every day' in a letter begging his father for forgiveness.
Stuart Hazell, 37, wrote to his father Keith from Belmarsh prison in August last year, saying he had made 'one mistake and my whole world has collapsed'.
He told his father that he wishes he could 'turn back the clock' and that he was unable to eat or sleep in prison.
The letter had two pictures of sad faces drawn on it and had two words written at the top: 'Forgive me'.

Hazell, is alleged to have sexually assaulted and killed the 12-year-old and hid her body in the loft of the home which he shared with Tia's grandmother in New Addington, south London.
He denies murder, claiming that Tia fell down the stairs and that he hid her body in a panic.
The Old Bailey trial was read the letter, which was headed with a picture of a sad face and the words 'forgive me.
He wrote: 'What happened I will explain in time, but put it this way, it was an accident and I panicked. Stupid I know but for my stupidity I'm looking at 15 to 18 years. I regret it every second of every day.
'I think about ending my life because if I don't someone will, that's definite.'
The letter went on: 'God I hate myself. I should have gone about this a different way, told the police

'Sorry': The letter from Hazell was signed off with a sad face
everything. They're trying to say it was sexual but I promise you it wasn't.'
'One mistake and my whole world has collapsed. My own fault I know.
'Don't listen to the papers, like everyone else. I will tell you all in time.'

The court also heard today that window cleaner Hazell was out buying alcohol while police were looking for him.
After buying vodka in a shop, he approached another customer, a young girl and told her he was looking for his granddaughter.
But the girl had already seen on the news that the police had found the body and were now looking for him.

When he was arrested later that day he was twice over the drink drive limit, jurors heard.
Witnesses said Hazell, 37, appeared ‘off his face’ after downing two bottles of vodka he bought from a shop in Morden, south London last August 10.
Shopkeeper Prasanna Jayakumar, 49, said: 'He told me he was looking for his granddaughter and was asking me to help find her and if I saw or heard anything, however small, to let him know.
'I said to him I was sorry to hear that and that I would help him if I heard anything.
'While he was saying this he was knocking his hands against his head with both sides of his palms.

'It looked like he was struggling to cope. He mumbled she hadn’t been home to eat her dinner.'
After selling him one half bottle of vodka and a lighter she said Hazell came back in two minutes and ordered exactly the same thing.

'It looked like he was struggling to cope. He mumbled she hadn’t been home to eat her dinner.'
After selling him one half bottle of vodka and a lighter she said Hazell came back in two minutes and ordered exactly the same thing.
She added: 'He was saying the same things again about looking for his granddaughter.
'He said he wasn’t going home without her. He was going to find her.'
Jurors heard Hazell approached a young girl who was in the shop and asked her help for finding Tia before leaving.
The young girl then told the shop owner she had seen on the news that police had already found Tia’s body and said: 'That’s the man they’re looking for.'
CCTV shown to the court on the fourth day of his trial at the Old Bailey shows Hazell leaving the shop and walking to nearby Cannon Hill Common.
Victoria Dragnet, who was looking for her friend’s dog, asked him for help and she says he shouted: 'I’ve got more important things to f****** do than look for a f****** dog.
'I’m looking for my granddaughter she’s missing.'
She said Hazell looked ‘off his face.’
She added: 'He made me feel uncomfortable and I just wanted to get away from him.
'He said I can’t just sit there. I need to find her.'

Devastated: Tia's mother Natalie Sharp and Christine Bicknell arrive at the Old Bailey for the fourth day of Stuart Hazell's murder trial today

Stuart Hazell jailed for Tia murder
Tia Sharp's mother has told ITV Stuart Hazell deserves to suffer.

He was jailed today for at least 38 years for killing the 12-year-old last summer.

In an exclusive interview, Tia's mother, who once dated Hazell before her mother got into a relationship with him, said she never suspected him.

The judge said Hazell's change in plea had robbed the family of finding out what happened to Tia the night she was killed, and that 'all that lay ahead of her, will now never be.'

    http://www.itv.com/news/london/story...r-case-begins/

The mother of murdered schoolgirl Tia Sharp has said the man responsible for her death "deserves to suffer".

Talking about 37-year-old Stuart Hazell, Natalie Sharp said: "He doesn't even deserve to be in prison, but he doesn't deserve to die either. He deserves to suffer but he'll never suffer will he? Not the way I need him to."

Today, Hazell, who changed his plea and admitted the murder of Tia on Monday, was jailed for life and ordered to serve a minimum of 38 years.

During his sentencing at the Old Bailey, Mr Justice Nichol told him: "All that lay ahead of her [Tia] - a career, loves and family of her own - will now never be. And the loss of her has been devastating for her mother, her father and all her relatives and friends.

"The tragedy of their loss and her death is because of your act in murdering Tia Sharp. You are responsible."

It is an aggravating feature that your victim was so young. So too is your abuse of trust. Tia's mother allowed her to come and stay with you because she trusted you to look after her.

By first sexually assaulting and then killing Tia you betrayed that trust in the most grievous way possible. And that breach of trust reverberates still.

    – MR JUSTICE NICOL
There were sobs and a shout of "beast" from the public gallery as Hazell was sentenced. Tia's grandmother Christine Bicknell could be seen crying and hugging a relative. Christine was the partner of Hazell at the time of Tia's death and told Hazell's trial the schoolgirl had "idolised" him.

Speaking to ITV's Tonight, she said she couldn't believe it when Tia's body was found in her loft, "It couldn't be her. She was coming home. She was coming home".

Tia was last seen at the house her grandmother shared with Hazell in Croydon, south London last August. Her body - wrapped in sheets and plastic bags - was discovered in the loft of the home after a week-long search by police.

Tia Sharp's family's pain is a life sentence
    13 May 2013 23:55
To understand the pain the Sharp family are suffering you’d have to have some sense of compassion. Hazell clearly has none

So evil Stuart Hazell finally admitted killing Tia Sharp because he thought her family “had already suffered enough”.

He really has not got a clue. He really never will have, either.

To *understand the pain that the Sharp family will suffer as the rest of their lives unfold you’d have to have some *sense of compassion.

    Hazell clearly has none.

Why else would he have refused to admit his guilt in the first place?

Why else would he have forced the family to sit through a trial where they heard the most disgusting, repellent stories of what he did to their daughter?

Tia’s relatives have to live with their loss. But they also have to live knowing that they *introduced her to her killer.

Hazell will receive a life sentence today. Tia’s mother and grandmother received theirs the day that poor child was killed.

[QUOTE=luvit;3420640]Relative of Stuart Hall claims she was groped, aged 8

A relative of Stuart Hall has told Daybreak how she was allegedly groped by him when she was just eight years old.
Jayne Lee claims the abuse continued for five years, but she didn't say anything because she thought no one would believe her.

It was something that, I dont think you would be believed, he was famous and back in the seventies to be famous... we only had three channels so to be on the TV it was a big thing.

Could this maybe be a different guy? Any UK members around to clarify? They have the articles following on & you almost miss the name change, I thought it was a typo & it didn't even occur to me there were 2 different creepy sleazes until I tried to find some awful 70's TV star photos. If it IS the same guy, SOMEONE STOLE HIS "ZE"!!! I hope it's the same guy, because it sucks the world should have to sustain more than one scumbiotic child/hood-destroying life-form at a time.

ETA ignore, in the time it took to sort homework etc, my questions were answered...wish you could save the post you already typed AND hit refresh to check for new stuff before you post. Ah well, expect I'll post on delay a few times more yet.. sorry Luvit!! It had me flipping sites for a while before I caught on

It's a different guy. Stuart Hall is an elderly tv presenter who likes to grope young girls. Stuart Hazell murdered Tia.
