Thats why i was questioning because if it was say the temple area, it would have been noticeable I suppose. Or maybe he did fall hard enough to blackout beforehand and just didnt realize he had blacked out? I dont think we have heard where he fell yet either, Im thinking it was most likely at home, maybe in the shower.......

Ive been guilty of this too and i would feel terrible also. Bodhi had this ginormous noggin when he was a baby and he was always falling and hitting his head.

Ive hit my head on the lower corners of my truck doors and omg thats sooo painful. I could be helping my husband work on something under the truck and when i went to stand up, i would hit my head super hard. Very scary.

I didn't see the update till just now. So sad and random. Mr. F would probably be tickled that his team more than likely got Andy Reid fired yesterday. RIP Blake

i pictured it backwards too, a smack on the forehead would leave a mark.

a few months ago, i was taking items from the passenger side of my car. i had parked next to a tree. i took the items out, careful, not to hit my car door on the tree. i closed the door, turned around, RIGHT into a giant tree branch. i smashed the top of my head so bad i dropped my things and nearly set that tree on fire.
i made a note to myself not to sleep for two-three hours.

this past summer, i helped a woman that was rollerblading in central park that fell backwards and smashed her head on the pavement. i called an ambulance for her because when i came upon her, her eyes were crossed and it scared me. she didnt want an ambulance, but i called anyway. i made my exit when other people gathered around because i had a softball game to get to.

my teammates said "what if she was cross eyed to begin with?" lol

    Jeez.

I wonder if her choice to decline the ambulance was due to being uninsured.

My cousin fell down the steps coming off of the train after work, hit the side of his head, but didn't feel sick until he got home and realized something was really bad. He had to have emergency brain surgery and almost didn't make it.
I just found out how to see my rep thing, and was asked what DD meant in this post. Sorry, I am used to using that acronym on another board. It means "Dear Daughter". :)

:< UGH. Sad! My aunt's niece died recently by a fall. Its weird. You think a fall? That can't kill? Look at kids...they fall all the time. But an as an adult, I have fallen and have broken bones.

    RIP Blake :<

Of all the people and/or reasons for me to come back to MDS and post a comment in a thread... it just had to be you... Mr. F?! FFS, fuckin with people even in death I guess. He had poor taste in a football team, but he definitely knew a "ten" when he saw one. I had some great times late at night with him on MDS, making jokes, playing jokes, and screwing with people. I'll never forget his intimate knowledge of the Dustoff deaths, or the detailed "research" he did trying to understand the fascination with that crap. Or the time his classmate and friend was found dead in a porta potty. That particular death allowed me to see the serious, sensitive, human being with raw emotions, which is something that is sometimes hard to see in the digital world. It's been awhile since I talked to him, but I always thought of him as one of the few friends that remain that I met on MDS. Hopefully this won't get baleeted by anyone that's still bitter about the bullshit that happened years ago, but if it does, oh well zero fucks will be given... Just paying respect that's due to a guy that made a great impression on me, and many others. A guy I was fortunate enough to get to know, although briefly, and who I considered a friend. Such an untimely and unfortunate loss, I'm glad you didn't suffer and I hope you're in a much better place, bro...

    GWS, Mr. F

Almost forgot... He'd want me to post this link for everyone to look at, and remember him by... Typical Dallas Cowgirl Fan

Aww, dammit. Happy Birthday, Blake. I'm sorry I didn't get out to meet and hang with you, Miller, and PCP that night.
Don't like what I have to say? I respect that. Go fuck yourself.

Mr. F died a year ago last week (June 26th).

I never realized that he and Mindy Guidry died on the same date.

I can't believe it has been a year already.

I passed Cowboy's stadium a couple of days ago and thought of him.

I never try anything, I just do it. Wanna try me?
