I was never missing. I was in crisis, but I was never missing. The situation was the product of an unfaithful spouse who could not handle the fact that I was not able to live in that environment. I went to the mountains to meditate and process the death of a 20 year relationship. I appreciate your thoughts, though!

Thanks for coming in to provide you side of the story. I hope you are finding yourself well. Hopefully, you hang around. If you are interested, there are some threads that may be helpful to you. There have been some members in a similar situation, as yours, and they may be a great resource for you. It's so much easier to vent and share feelings with people who do not know you and are unbiased. Take a look around and jump into some of the other threads. I'm sure you will find some of the lighter threads that, I'm sure, will bring a smile to your face.
I took a look at your FB and noticed the pic from Lunken Airport. It brought back some memories, as I use to fly in and out of Lunken. Made some good friends there because I was there so much. I use to go up to Mt. Lookout, or was it Mt. Adams? I forget now it's been so long ago. Anyway, I would sit in the park, on a ledge, and watch the planes coming and going. Every once in a while I would catch the Air Care helicopters coming in to fuel.
    Welcome to MDS!
