I mean when is the last time ANY child was planned for, then conceived, and then born?
That's my favorite argument against the folks who are anti-gay adoption. Gay people can't have an "oops baby."

That's what irritates me the most about the religious right - They won't teach/don't allow any kind of contraception, are anti abortion but once the kid is born (to shitty parents no less) it's "Great! My job here is done!". Once the child is born it's "not my problem". But guess what asshat? It wasn't your friggin problem to begin with; mind your damn business.

THIS. Out of all my friends and even family most of the babies were not planned. My son was planned, my daughter was not. The only fool-proof method is abstinence and well...who the fuck wants to do that??? Plan B is so easily accessible so I am not sure why people don't utilize that. I don't think people realize how much work a baby really is!
