I'm not too bothered by the ipads because they use them for mostly homeschooling. Her life (minus the baby dying) sounds like a grand adventure and I bet her daughters have a lot of fun.

I looked at this a month or 2 ago & this guy had a MASSIVE number of youtube vids of himself sitting in his garage preaching. For hours. Sometimes with poor bored & bewildered little preschoolers stuck there listening. I think there was one where he was giving a speech on why he'd been shunned/cut off by his local congregation of some church or other. I didn't want to bump it for something that would either bore or weird people to death, but if it's bumped anyway...



Will make sure they're not already linked & see if I can find them again. Mostly they were just a bit dorky & weird, but some were disturbing given what we now know.

She's back blogging and is now carrying a baby for a gay couple. She calls it a 'gayby'. She is the biological parent to this gayby as the gay couple are male. She found them online, they live in Iceland.

I believe the Gayby site has (at least partially) been taken down because she is trying to hide the fact that she is getting paid for the surrogacy, which some people on another blog have pointed out is illegal in her state of Australia and also in Iceland (where the fathers are from). If you google, there are some cached versions of it that have been saved on other sites.

I was thinking about this case the other day. I can't find any updates on David getting out on parole, so I assume he is still in jail.

Thanks for bumping this, I haven't heard of this case. The "gayby" (ugh) looks an awful lot like Elijah. I see Lauren stopped blogging in 2016, I wonder what she's up to now?

ETA: This article explains what happened - apparently a bad combination of weed and cactus powder? Also, Lauren divorced him.

I think David was released and changed his name for safety and Lauren seems to be living in one place now and the girls are in a regular school. I'll have to find my sources soon.
