Reuben Scown left his Suffolk Park home earlier in the week and has not been seen since.
Police are asking for public help to find a missing Byron Bay man.
Reuben Scown, 22, was last seen leaving his Suffolk Park home earlier this week.
He left in his 1994 blue Toyota Camry station wagon on Monday around 6pm.
Mr Scown hasn't been in contact with his family since and police have concerns for his welfare.
Inspector Darren Steele says police have searched the Byron Bay area and Minyon Falls where there were reports of the man.
He says there were also reports that Mr Scown may be travelling to Sydney.
Inspector Steele says anyone who has seen Mr Scown or his car is asked to contact Byron Bay police or Crimestoppers.
"Reuben is about five feet nine inches, weighs about 90 kilos with a heavy build," Insp Steele said.
"He was unshaven the last time he had been seen, he's got dark brown hair and brown eyes and he was wearing dark jeans and a burgundy hooded jacket with a zip up front."
