Here's the sig of an apparent friend of his from some anime forum:

There is no courage if there is no fear, just the same as... there is no expierience if there is no mistakes or failures! To protect is not to betray... never betray...never! There is no difference it's all in your name. In loving memory, Jacob Wolvin May 17,1991-March 7, 2007

After we found out how he did it I went asking around.
Apparently he was friends with my boyfriend.

Anyways from what I heard the suicide has to do with a girl.

That's pretty sad. It seems like he had a lot of friends but was hanging with the wrong ones. Suicide sucks. It affects those who didn't even know them.

Anyways heres some facts I guess
That girl who we thought was his girlfriend, wasn't, At least from what I've heard.
The last time a teen killed themselves at Lake Orion high school was back in the 90's
Jacob was a really cool kid, very friendly.

(I also know why he did it, but I feel bad posting it :|)

Young love/sex sucks. Kids shouldn't be allowed to date until they move out. I wish! Would save me a lot of heartache as well as the kids. Don't they have enough going on in their teens that can mess them up? Oh well...

I saw a few RIP bulletins for this kid, yet I cant find anything on his death. I'm pretty bad at this I guess because I can't even find a death notice. I know this is real, and that he is dead because his service was today and they mentioned his death at My (old) High school. Rumor is suicide while stoned but I have no idea how accurate that is.
I work in the Emergency Room at a large hospital and it amazes me how many people's death does not make the obits. Our local paper charges big bucks to put in an obit. If someone doesn't have money to spend to "announce" the death it doesn't make the paper. I think it's really sad.
Money comes into play even once you are dead. It also makes it seem like if you have money and can afford to place the obit the death is news worthy. If you are poor or less fortunate your death isn't news worthy. Always thought that was wrong.

Hi :-) welcome to the board.
Yeah that does seem to be his girlfriends page, good find. or at least his best friends page, but i'm guessing both because her friend commented that he was a babe.Great find, I never would have found that.
hi i'm rachel for those who don't know me. a friend told me of this page, and how my myspace was linked to it.
yes. i'm rachel, like, the one with the jake wolvin death.
i also created the myspace group.
in fact, me and a couple other girls even made his myspace for him.
it's a real death. he had an obit and my father did the funeral.

here's what happened. for real.

him and i were caught doing some things we shouldn't have been, and we got into trouble. he went home, got drunk, and high on an unknown substance similar to speed, and shot himself in his basement.

Apparently there was one in the paper, according to my moms friend. It's not even listed in the local paper online which this has to be the biggest story we've had in a while (kind of sad...) I don't know how hush hush it was due to the fact they announced it at the school which isn't something they usually do.
Also most cases kids around here aren't poor. I don't think his parents wouldn't have paid for an orbit, people around here might not have the biggest house but even the local bum has a fat stash of cash :? and a bank account...
oh and by the way, he did have an obit.
and his family isn't the richest, but they were seriously distraught, and they had reason not to talk about it much.
he was in rehab for a long time before he killed himself, and the family had alot of trouble with his addictions.

oh, and they usually do announce deaths over the PA. they announced two other deaths yesterday.
