    Amalia Henschel - COD needed

Authorities Friday identified the woman found dead outside a Redgranite home yesterday. However, how she died remains a mystery.

The Waushara County Sheriff is giving out few details in the death of 21-year-old Amalia Henschel.

Sheriff David Peterson says there were no obvious signs of trauma on Henschel's body that would have caused her death.

A neighbor called police to the scene after finding Henschel's body partially underneath the porch of an empty rental house.

Henschel's body was discovered partially hidden under a set of stairs outside this home by a neighbor shortly after 10 am Thursday morning.
Peterson says toxicology tests are being conducted to help determine how Henschel died.

Residents say they have been on edge since the body was found.

When Jesse Gonzales heard sirens Thursday morning, he thought nothing of it.

"You hear it everyday, just about, the firemen going out," said Gonzales.

But this time, it was different.

"Then all of a sudden I looked, kept looking and I saw a body lying on the ground?it was scary," said Gonzales.

The Waushara County Sheriff's Department says the body Gonzales saw was that of 21-year-old Amalia Henschel. According to the Sheriff, Henschel lived nearby in the Wautoma-Neshkoro Area. Authorities cannot say how Henschel died, or if they suspect foul play.

Gonzales said the situation is hard to believe.

"Stuff like that happens all the time, but you don't expect it to happen right behind your house," said Gonzales.

Justin Yaroch said he can't even believe something would happen in his town, much less his neighborhood.

"I'm very nervous, because it's something I never thought I would see in Redgranite here, a small town," said Gonzales.

And while many are nervous in Redgranite, those who knew Henschel tell FOX 11 they're devastated.
We talked with several friends said they did not want to go on camera. They say Henschel was a kind and freepspirited person.

Now everyone's left wondering what happened to her.

"There's a lot of people talking about what has transpired," said Yaroch.

"Now we definitely keep the doors locked," said Gonzales.

Sheriff Peterson says it will take several weeks before results of the toxicology tests will be available. He says the investigation is still on-going.

Here's another story from the Fox 11 website...sounds like they're thinking drugs, specifically heroin? Amalia is mentioned in the story.

There is also a friend who made some posts about police not doing enough to find a "person of interest"...some guy that was last seen with Amalia.

Maybe the want to charge the person who provided the drugs she overdosed on?

REDGRANITE, WI (WTAQ) - A Redgranite woman whose body was found under a deck in Waushara County died from a heroin overdose, and now two men are facing charges in her death.

Back in April, 21-year-old Amalia Henschel’s body was found under a Redgranite home.

Waushara County District Attorney’s office filed first degree reckless homicide charges against 28-year-old Randy Lingren from Wautoma, and 45-year-old John Gearnhardt of Redgranite. Investigators say Henschel died from an heroin overdose.

Gearnhardt allegedly sold the heroin to Lindgren who then turned around and sold it to Henschel.

Several others have been charges in the aftermath of Henschel’s death; those include manufacturing and delivery of heroin, perjury and conspiracy.

It looks like these two men are being charged over her death (heroin), and I think these are the papers:

First degree reckless homicide AND Conspiracy to manufacture/deliver... Others also being charged with Manufacture/deliver and Perjury.
