Hey folks, Harry here... I'm getting slammed with assloads of people angry at me for not posting the Bale explosion from the set of McG's TERMINATOR: SALVATION. Well, first off - there's a real simple reason. It isn't news. And it certainly isn't cool news. It is a moment in a man's life taken completely out of context and most likely leaked to personally embarrass Christian Bale.

Now, I know what a lot of you are thinking... There's no excuse for a temper tantrum like that to ever occur and if you are going to act that way, you deserve to be embarrassed by your own actions.

Except, you want to hear the REALITY behind that clip?

I know this because I happen to be somewhere where someone that was there that day and for the shoot is. And this person isn't a publicist, nor are they invested in Bale's career. They're just someone that thinks it is absolute bullshit that this moment in Bale's life is being aired and that the real story should get out there.

The DP on TERMINATOR SALVATION, Shane Hurlbut, is a apparently a light tweaker. He's a fairly young DP and likes to fiddle with his lights on set during action, which is a big "NO NO" on most productions unless worked out in advance with performers. But apparently Shane was a pretty unrepentant light tweaker.

The scene in question, was a very emotional and tough scene between Christian Bale and Bryce Howard. A scene that required soul bearing and a deep level of immersive concentration. The sort of scene where everyone on set knows not to get in anyone's eye lines, and definitely not to move lights around while FILMING. You lock that shit down before the scene starts.

Bale had indeed warned the DP on multiple occasions about messing with lights while the cameras were rolling, and Bale was in the midst of a painful scene with Bryce, what was described to me as being the emotional center of the film and his character for the film.

Now, the reason I know all of this is because the person that was there, felt that it should be made perfectly clear that Christian Bale was the utmost gentleman and cool guy on set. And the DP really was doing something that professional DPs with experience just don't do. Not during a performance.

You don't need me to give you a link, it's all over the internet, I just felt that you should know what really went down - and that this particular outburst did indeed modify the DP's behavior - and for future DPs. Fuck with the lights before and after your actors are acting. Not during.

Goofing off or just not knowing what the hell he was doing?

Not knowing what he was doing and acting unprofessionally. It's a kind of common thing to happen when you hire locals who aren't used to a large scale, expensive production. Basically, every time something seemed off to him, he would wander into the shot instead of waiting until they finished and try fixing it. Fucking stupid. Imagine if during a school play someone kept coming on and fixing scenery. Now imagine every time he does that, it costs you guys a million bucks.

Everyone was pissed. My old roommate was the makeup artist and she said everyone on that set was a doll to work with.

Should have yelled at the director or producers. they're the ones in charge. Either way, that explosion reveals he is definitely a nut. Don't see what the money has to do with anything. Bale didn't lose out on any cash. He's still getting his money no matter what.

I’m so fucking sorry that I lost control on the fucking set of Terminator Salvation. It was so fucking inappropriate. I could try and make some kind of excuse, about the stress of carrying the success of a major franchise on your shoulders, or the mental intensity of an actor in the middle of an emotionally powerful scene, but I won’t patronize you. We both know that I could do this fucking job with my fucking eyes fucking closed. And this is a fucking Terminator movie. There are no emotionally powerful scenes.

As you may remember during my tirade, I asked Mr. Hurlbut if he was a professional. I wish I had had the temperament to ask myself that question in that moment. Are you a professional or not, Christian Bale? I would have said. To myself. A professional does not do what I did to Mr. Hurlbut on that day. A professional sits in his trailer and rubs cocaine on his dick, alone.

I know that these revelations have fucking shocked many of my fans, and I’m so fucking sorry. I want to kick my own fucking ass. NO! NO! DON’T SHUT ME UP. Da de da de da, what don’t you fucking understand? You got any fucking idear about how fucking sorry I fucking am?

Btw the guy was the director of photography so it wasn't just some dude off the street. He had worked on many major motion pictures before.

It's actually more common than not and over really stupid things. Atleast this one was somewhat justified in that the DP wasn't doing his job and it was causing issues with the actors & the scene. Honestly though so many actors flip the fuck out for no good reason on set. There is stress yes, but these are people whose every whim is catered to and they throw temper tantrums and/or are just miserable to work with. If more of these leaked out a lot of so called stars would have a lot less fans.

Men really want all women to associate feminism with man-hate. Until attending the event, I was also not aware of the transphobia of which Gloria Steinem is often accused. I’m certainly not stupid enough to dismiss Gloria Steinem’s impact on American feminism or women’s rights in America, but for someone who has been lauded for her progressive thinking, she has yet to get with the program. I certainly respect her contributions and her voice. She can certainly talk the talk, but when confronted with actual questions about antiracist or pro-queer efforts, I find that she is unable to wrap her head around the conversation.

After months of disappearing, re-appearing, and checking in and out and back in again from rehab ... formerly missing "Terminator 3" star Nick Stahl was spotted in West Hollywood today.

As TMZ first reported, Stahl's wife reported the actor missing back in May, gave up looking for him in June, and then told us earlier this month he reunited with the family and was seeking treatment for substance abuse.

Here's to hoping Nick stays clean ... the future wouldn't be the same without John Connor Nick Stahl.

Too bad this guys ex had to oust him on all his drug issues, he could have maybe fought it without the press. Hope he does okay now for his daughter.

i don't know, dude...it doesn't seem like he was doing a good job of fighting it at all. going on binges, disappearing, getting to the point where you need supervised visitation to see your kid... maybe having it all out there will help motivate him to stay clean. if he wants to keep working, he's got to get his shit straight.

Yeah but technically they were already in a court battle, she didn't have to make it a public thing when the public at some point could have/would have found out on their own. If they cared to. I just think for her daughters sake, he needs to get clean and the whole messy debacle doesn't have to be broadcast.

they weren't divorcing though, or so i thought. i mean, you've got a guy who DID disappear, and no one knew where he was....making that info public is what you do in that situation, right? thats how people are found. i don't think the fact that they may have been having a custody battle negates any genuine concern she has for him. just my opinion. also, if my husband was a raging drug addict who refused to get clean, i'd do whatever i had to do to get full custody. just sayin'.
