even worse, some women cannot do it because of medications or other health concerns. my sister was devastated because she had preeclampsia and gestational diabeetus so she couldn't breast feed even though she wanted to.

I haven't. I was using it as an example of someone feeling that they can do whatever they want and somehow, everyone else is the jerk because they don't want to trip on them. It was about that woman that staged a sit in because she felt she was "mistreated" by Target.

I have breastfed without covering my kid. It was outside, on a shady bench, under a tree on my old grad campus. A few people walked by. I didn't feel compelled to cover. Maybe I'm shameless, but I really didn't feel like I did anything wrong. I wasn't in the middle of a restaurant or anything. I have known women like that, and although I never did do it, it didn't particularly bother me that they did.
