Wake: 7 to 8 p.m. Friday at the church. Survivors: Benetha's grace and beautiful character will be cherished by her son, Brandon Haywood; parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Homer Sr.; brother, R.L. Homer Jr.; sisters, Gayle Williams and Cynthia Homer-Manuel (Marcus); uncles, Bennie Earl Lee and John Wayne Lee; special niece, Jimecia Homer; special friend and co-worker, Gloria Rice; and a host of other relatives and loving friends.
