How sad. I did think it was a little odd that they mentioned in the article that he was responsible for his own medical bills right now, i don't think we see that very often.

The whole medical bill thing is kind of funny. (funny ironic, not haha)

The hospital and the county want the city to arrest him. That would make the city responsible for his bills. Otherwise when he doesn't pay... and you just know he won't be able to, he's been fired from his job and is most likely going away for a loooong time, then the hospital is on the hook for the bill unless they can get him declared indigent, which they probably can, then the county will have to pay.

Yeah, I was thinking about it and already had it in my mind that the taxpayers were going to end up footing the bill for this anyways. If he had any insurance, i was thinking that it might pay for the initial medical help he needed but if he needed it later, it would be on the citizens back.

Honestly, when i hear about stories like this, i wish the ambulance would have taken a longer time trying to help this guy medically, I mean he deserves a horrid death imo for what he has done. The flip side is that it's somewhat appealling to see him suffer in prison but sadly i don't think they suffer enough in prison, not enough to ever make the pain of losing a loved one away anyways. It's sad, because there is no real way to make this guy suffer other than to let this womans family get ahold of him.

There, that would work for me. If someone hurt my children, heaven forbid took their lives, I would want time alone unsupervised with the criminal so I could get out my feelings but I would absolutely love to see my husband do some serious damage. I get that violence isnt always the answer, but stuff like this, violence looks appealing when it's done to the person who took a loved one.
