A very sad but good movie I watched recently was The Impossible. I cried the entire movie. It's based on a true story which is what makes it even more sad. My boyfriend cried too, which is a rare sight.

we rented 'Guilt Trip' on Sunday. I expected to hate it but it turned out to be a pretty good movie. Who knew?

Nova : Cracking the Genetic Code on Netflix features my workplace I drank the Kool Aid when I started working there. I didn't even know they aired the stuff that NOVA filmed at my work until I was looking for a docu to fall asleep to. Good job Eric Lander.

That movie started my big crush on Matt Dillon...memories...lol. My favorite scene is when Claude is tripping on acid while looking at the Garden of Earthly Delights. That painting is fucked up when you are straight.

Been awhile since I have seen a good scary movie.... Probably like 13 ghosts. The rest have been so predictable. I did like Sinister but it did not really scare me. It did keep my intrest though. Honorable mentions, Midnight Meat Train, the first Human Centipede mainly for the ridulous story line. One that was not really suppose to be scary but you just feel so bad for the couple I admit, I cried for Micheal Fassbender lol

My sister wanted to see this but Amazon was charging like so lucky for her I found it on youtube. I thought it was really good.

    Fun(1994)
Hillary and Bonnie meet one morning by the side of the road. They become fast friends, share their secrets, and on a rising wave of frenzy later that afternoon, murder an old woman. They did it, they say later, for fun.

For any Fulci fans out there, I've always wanted to see Don't Torture a Duckling and took a shot to see if it was on youtube and it was.

Quick synopsis: A reporter and a promiscuous young woman try to solve a series of child killings in a remote southern Italian town that's rife with superstition and distrust of outsiders.

I heartily recommend The Imposter, available on Netflix streaming. Don't read anything about it before you watch it.

A girl was raped in almost every short, which I didn't much take to. I liked the one about the strippers though.

My parents went away for the weekend so I spent it watching stuff on the tele. I'm a big fan of Spanish horror films, but can't recall watching any Mexican ones other than the Devils backbone and pans Labrynth until now. I also quite like anthologies, but I'm never a fan of rape scenes which are often contained in them. It's too bad because horror shorts are really fun.
