I surely hope you are talking about someone other than me. I have been on a Caylee Anthony thread and a Travis Alexander/Jodi Arias thread and if you think I have trashed the victim on either of those, please post your proof. I would take that opportunity to report you for slander.

GZ was the assailant here. Trayvon was just walking home, minding his business.

Under such laws, there is no duty to retreat from anywhere the defender may legally be.[1] Other restrictions may still exist; such as when in public, a person must be carrying firearms in a legal manner, whether concealed or openly.

"Stand your ground" governs U.S. federal case law in which right of self-defense is asserted against a charge of criminal homicide. The Supreme Court of the United States ruled in Beard v. They were BOTH on their own premises and Trayvon did not provoke the attack - GZ did.
