Trevor Alan Cook, 18, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2012. Service: 3:30 p.m. Saturday in Greenwood Funeral Home Chapel. Interment: Greenwood Memorial Park. Trevor was born May 3, 1993, in Fort Worth. Trevor was and is a beautiful person inside and out. His short life on earth was not in vain as he touched everyone he ever met. He loved to laugh in all situations. Music was his passion and he made many mixed tapes and was a great DJ, but most of all he loved his family. He shared a special bond with his mother. They were and are great friends, and they lived to protect and care for each other. Trevor had a unique way of making those around him happy. He was the most non-judgmental person God ever created. He was a gentle soul surely filled with the love of God for all to see.
He had recently enrolled in college to study chemistry and planned to also attend vocational school for Bell Helicopter. Trevor was determined to live a happy and productive life but was also content in the moment if he could bring joy to those whom he loved. These qualities are what God put in him and what his mother and father nurtured in him. Trevor's ability to see the best through all the bad is what defined his life. He was and is an inspiration to all he met and knew. Trevor will be missed beyond words but we trust through faith in our Lord God that you are using our son, brother, nephew, grandson, cousin and our dearest friend to the good of your kingdom! Trevor Alan Cook, this is not goodbye but a mere farewell until we meet again. We all love and miss you beyond understanding.
