A traffic accident Friday that claimed the lives of two teenagers on the Pine Ridge Indian Reservation is under investigation.
Isaac Jumping Eagle, 18, of Manderson and Jennifer Shoulders, 17, of Sharps Corner died in the one-vehicle accident that injured three people near Wounded Knee. The names of the injured were not available Monday.
The accident is under investigation by the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Oglala Sioux Tribe Department of Public Safety and Federal Bureau of Investigation, with assistance from the South Dakota Highway Patrol Crash Reconstruction team.
