I lived in Anchorage when this happened. I'm shocked to see the video. Gave me chills. I remember it was white out conditions that night. Coffee stands are everywhere up there and they are all run by young women, usually alone.

NEW details have emerged about Israel Keyes' last murder, as police reveal how the once-methodical serial killer lost control.
Before Israel Keyes murdered an 18-year-old barista, he also targeted the young woman's boyfriend before changing his mind, according to a lead investigator in the slaying, ABCnews reports.
Keyes, who recently killed himself in his jail cell, abducted Samantha Koenig on February 1 at the coffee kiosk where she worked, in the US city of Anchorage. He then tied her up with zip ties, before lying on the floor with her in the darkened structure.
Investigators reviewing the abduction caught on CCTV cameras initially thought Keyes lay on the ground with Koenig in case anyone had witnessed him climbing in through the drive-thru window.
"What we found when we interviewed Mr Keyes was that he knew that the coffee kiosk closed at 8pm and he knew that because Samantha didn't have a vehicle there, somebody was going to come and pick her up," Detective Monique Doll told The Associated Press. "He was waiting for her ride to come there because he intended to take that person as well."
Keyes, 34, ended up leaving with Koenig shortly before her boyfriend, Duane Tortolani II, arrived to pick her up.
He later raped and strangled the 18-year-old, before dumping her body in a shed for two weeks while he went on a cruise.
Koenig's dismembered body was later found in a frozen lake near Anchorage.
Detective Doll said investigators don't know why Keyes changed his mind.
"I don't know why he left, but he made it very clear that, you know, that was part of the plan," she said. "It was very fortuitous for Mr. Tortolani not to have run into Mr Keyes."
Detective Doll said the once-methodical Keyes began to lose control before his arrest, with the murderer starting to target couples over single victims.
Keyes was arrested in Lufkin, Texas, in March. He was found dead in his cell later that month while awaiting trial for Koenig's murder.
In chilling footage obtained by the FBI, Keyes revealed the "rush" of taking lives.
"He liked what he was doing," FBI spokesperson Jolene Goeden told Good Morning America.
"He talked about the rush he got out of it, the adrenaline and kind of the high from it."
I feel terrible for Samantha's family. I have mixed emotions about his death. I don't care that the POS killed himself, I only wish that he gave the locations of where his other victims are. All that information died with him sadly. The families may never know and their loved ones will never have closure.

Apparently that picture is not the real picture. The book I read this weekend said it was never released. This was from a movie. He braided her hair for the picture he took and had a gag over her mouth because he said he couldn't get it to look right due to decomp.
