Dear MDS Live Journal (Entry 2 CARTMAN)

Today is Sunday. I have been busy since Friday morning so i haven't had the chance to come to MDS and enjoy. Friday night i saw powerman 5000. They put on a great show. Apparently we were the first show in 4 months for them. After the show I went backstage and hung out with Spider, the lead singer. Very chill guy. He seemed a bit bitter with the ole record label though. Then again, after the story he told, I'd hate my label too. I in all honesty wanted to ask him how is brother Rob's new movie "Halloween" was turning out, but I figured that would be rude. Afterall, Powerman and Rob Zombie are two different groups, I doubt he wants to talk about his brother. Anyway, after that... i went home. Woke up early the next morning, and ran errands. After that, I had a live broadcast from the club we work with. In all great weekend, although I missed my MDS. So until we talk next...

Dear MDS LiveJournal,

It is Spring Break and I am not going anywhere. I don't really know people well enough to travel with them and I know my parents probably wouldn't let me. I also have to work tonight and I don't want to. I want to go buy clothes. Sometimes I wish I could move out cause things are always so dramatic. It gets annoying.. and everything is exaggerated! I could handle myself if I moved out but apparently, they believe I can't. It doesn't matter anyway cause I wouldn't be able to find a roommate. Well, a female one probably. I don't know any girls and I have to bring my cat with me. I could always live with guys, but I'm sure people wouldn't be too fond of that. I'm just rambling.

ah i understand. at least you're in school. your parents maybe driving you crazy but you gotta sacrifice. It may sound cliche but the education is worth it. you're still so young, you got plenty of time (hopefully) to move out and make it on your own. my mom kicked me out when i turned 19, the day i graduated highschool. i didn't go back to school until i was 30 yrs old, even though i graduated ranked 2nd. so even tho they are throwing salt in your game, they really are helping you by providing a stable environment for you. good luck kiddo. my mother drove me crazy.

thank you! that makes me feel a bit better. i just hate when they group me in with my younger siblings and accuse me of doing the things they do. and of course, even though i'm 18, i can't do a lot of stuff that i want to do cause 'i still live in their house by their rules'. they talk about how they want me to experience college life, but they are reluctant at times to let me do some of things i want to do. i know i wouldn't be allowed to go to phoenix with people. that just sucks.

yeah it does suck...but christ 18 is still so young. i got kicked out cuz i didn't want to follow the rules my mom had that i thought were unreasonable...they were, but i was also the type like marty in back the the future, don't give me an ultimatum (sp). After i was an adult for many years i got pregnant (unexpectedly dont ask how but you can imagine) and my husband and i and my kids all lived with his parents while he finished his physics degree....five years in that house, and he left school with 6 credits to his bachelors in Physics.........

Dear Livejournal,

Tell Pandora to talk about her entry in private messages rather then chit chat about it in a thread dedicated to entries. Also, tell her just because she is a "moderator" doesn't mean she can bully everyone around. Oh and tell her I love her waaaaaaaaaaay more.

Dear MDS LiveJournal?

So, Saturday I got up at 6am, and didn't get to bed until midnight. Then today I had to get back up at 4am. I am PMSy, overtired, cranky, irritable and lots of other mean adjectives tonight.

Why is it so difficult to get Josh to hang a $%#$^$&$^!$@$ toilet paper roll holder?! I swear, it's like effing pulling teeth. I will never understand how I can work 40 hours a week, drive 400 miles a week, typically only get 5 hours of sleep and STILL manage to be more productive than him! ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Side note, my mom's surgery is tomorrow. I'm a little nervous. This will be like her 10th time being knocked out in 3ish years. I hope the surgeon kicks butt and that everything goes smoothly. I can't take tomorrow off to be there, but I'll probably try to sneak into church at 6am on my way to work to light a candle. I hope this surgery will help bring her happiness and peace with her body and esteem.

PS: My hair is oily like woah lately, anyone have any de-grease suggestions so I avoid looking like that crack mama that gave her 2 year old drugs...?
With all this talk of thinking outside the box, I am beginning to wonder what's left inside the box. -Me

dear MDS livejournal,

i'm so sick of migraines i could just puke and believe me i have been. it's been two and a half months and i just can't seem to shake them. i hope the bitching helps. i'm just sick of popping pills like and 85 year old. and it's not like i even get fun drugs to take.

march is endometriosis awareness month! i'd like to do my part on educating people about endo as so many people don't understand that it is a debilitating disease for many women. i've her statistics that state as many as 1 in 10 women may suffer from endo. many endo specialist say that if you have pelvic pain, you should assume you have endo and talk with your dr. about treatment. femara is a wonderful drug, i think it saved my life.

unfortunately it doesn't help migraines.

HEY LIVEJOURNAL..
this friday was awesome. me and my boyfriend went to NINE in Hoboken, NJ which is a really cute spot. The purpose of this entry to let other MDSer's from the Jersey area know that if you want a nice chill, semi-romantic spot/lounge to go to.. NINE is a nice spot. They played a good mix of hip-hop, and there is space in back rooms to shake the booty. It seems like a nice singles spot too, at about 11:30, it was a serious Sword Fight (mostly guys) in there and then about 12:45, there was a whole bunch of girls..
So we went there, had some great drinks and then went home and finished off a bottle of wine.. woo hoo!! It was a great weekend and I REALLY needed that after the last two weeks.
now i cant sleep becaus eof the time change.. but it will be nice to save on the electric bill... right?

Dear MDS LiveJournal,

I quit my job with no real plan but to kick around England for a while with my boyfriend (fiance, ahem). I was terrified at the prospect of not having a job, but in 2 days I already got 2 freelance jobs and feel confident.

But truly I am still terrified I won't be able to pay the mortgage.

I need to read "The Alchemist" once more and more carefully.
