A mother and daughter gave birth the baby boys just hours a part on Wednesday in an Elk Grove hospital.
35-year-old Jessica Rotter and her daughter Briana, 17, gave birth just 6 hours apart.
Both women say they'll grow up more like brothers, instead of uncle and nephew.
"I think they're going to be really close,? said Briana. ?And it's nice that they're going to have somebody to be with all the time."
Another way to look at it: one baby is Briana's son, the other is her little brother. The mother and daughter say this wasn't planned. Briana found out she was pregnant first.
"Then she told me a week later that ?I'm pregnant too," said Briana. "And I said 'Great! This is going to be a fun journey.!"
Jessica says she feels very lucky that everyone is healthy. Both babies were delivered by Dr. Alex Lipowich, who says he hasn't seen anything like this during his 20 years delivering babies.
