The admins on this site believe that the "NOOB bashing" has come to a frenzied level and gotten out of hand. We'd like to lay some ground rules. You people are adults and should know how to conducts yourselves, but sadly that is not happening.
I think we were all told in Kindergarten (or church if you went) "Treat others as you would treat yourself." Realizing it's a forum, not the real world, I suppose people do not want to abide by "The Golden Rule." The anonymity of the internet makes it easier to be cruel and abusive.
Here are the rules:
- Absolutely no bashing of NOOBS who are conducting themselves in a peaceful manner and adding to the discussion.
- No bashing NOOBS for technical errors. Suggestion: if you are a senior member why not offer assistance? You clearly have the free time.
- Report NOOBS who are being abusive and the moderators will take action. Sure you can tell these people to STFU if they are clearly trolling, but report the posts as well.
- Try to celebrate the uniqueness of MDS by explaining the intricacies of our board to new members who are confused. If you can't do that then just STFU Non-NOOB Members!
Offenders will be warned. Repeat offenders will be banned.
