I think most sites have a "clique" and it can be hard to try and fit in. "Cliques" piss me off bigtime, I hate the mentality of them.

Personal Observation: The article/death threads are the best jumping off point.  I think noobs get a little more leeway in there because they're here because of a genuine interest in the main purpose of this site.  It's when they take a swan dive into other parts of the board that gets them in trouble.
